  • Though, although, even though -- how do we use each of these in English? In this lesson, I'll explain how we use them, and when exactly they are used in English.     Thank you for posting videos like these. I decided to go back to school this year to pursue an associates degree in Business. One of the things that stopped me in the past was the writing part of taking classes. English is not my first language and it’s difficult to sit down and start writing. Fortunately, there are lessons I can take before I start my actual career that will help me improve my writing and gain confidence. The way you explained these transitions has been pretty helpful. Thank for you doing this !!!

    Besides his great teaching abilities What I think we appreciate about Adam lessons is that he doesn't go like LEARN ENGLISH WITH ME, YOU YES YOU! and the disturbing, unreal, exaggerated gestures and all that marketing stuff that is so broadly spread on the net today, Thank you Adam;)

    Even though "Although" is less colloquial then "Though", you can't end a sentence with "Although", despite the expectations!

      Since I've watched this video I realized that "Even thought" and Although often has the same meaning. However, Even though is used to emphasize a contrast.

      "Even though the exam was difficult, I did good" is an assumption
