I Love the solution and value this video provided. Well done guys. Oh, I discovered you guys from a shout-out from Epic Light Media's Blackmagic Design 12k unboxing video and I am glad to be Subscribed. Value is over the roof
If you can’t afford this and you already have a tripod, a tripod dolly might be a good option. Just be carefully buying them secondhand, because the wheels often have bald spots and they are not cheap or easy to replace.
How often do you use the doorway dolly for dolly shots? Do you guys have rails & the rail wheels for it? My company has one and curious if I should start using it more. Curious about jib shots + dolly movement.
Hey Chris! Yes, we do have dolly track and hot buttons that we use for specialty shots. We actually use them in this video at about the 45 sec mark: ruclips.net/video/gWXBp99vvKc/видео.html We tend to only break out the dolly + tracks for shots that cover a large distance, have a curving motion, or if it includes a jib movement. Sometimes we will even lock all the axes of our jib when it's on the dolly track and use the jib purely as a boom arm with no motion - like for shots where a camera needs to travel through a window. We have our jib mounted on a dana dolly at time stamp 3:30 in this video: ruclips.net/video/B69vmqsCFJo/видео.html For most shoots, our dana dolly with 6 foot speed rail is enough for us though. :)
Its the Matthews Doorway Dolly, but we modified the platform and had it replaced with aluminum deck for more stability. It also has the Proaim Euro mount on it. Proaim also has some solid dollies too!
I never knew something like this existed, holy crap! I need this in my arsenal ASAP!

Great video! Was wondering what jib your using in the video?
What is the jib you are using?
Dude!
This is sick!
Subbed from reddit.
Sweet man! Glad to have you on board!
What make is that Jib? Im in the market for one, looking for a fairly heavy duty one like yours!
That is a Cinevate jib. Them or Proaim make some reasonable priced, while still heavy duty jibs.
Can you attach a fluid head onto the Bazooka alone?
What’s the link to all this?
what jib is that thanks
It is a jib from Cinevate. Here is the link: www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/871601-REG/Cinevate_Inc_CINJIB01_Axis_Jib.html
@@threefoldtv awesome thank you
A tad jealous. Great video!
what was the dolly you used? links anyone?

i got one word that can replace this entire piece of heavy expensive equipment. GIMBAL
How do you like that tripod head?
We really like the BVX25H Benro head. Compared to other similar spec'd tripods/fluid heads its a solid unit for the price!
