Thanks for the input Mate , this by far the best video on zx12r plug change on here , just did mine this morning after watching your technique , btw I used the Kawasaki supplied tool that came with the bike ,B model 2002, and it did the job with no issues besides me having sausage fingers as it were. Thanks again Regards Habib
The dual electrode plugs are not sold in some markets, Australia specifically, and are replaced with NGK part No CR9 EIX 3521, according to the specs that ive obtained observing current info this plug will do the job without damage to the electrode , As ive just replaced a set of NGK CR8 EIX plugs that were in mine , bike has 75,000 KM on odo. The genuine dual electrode plug would of been the way to go if I could source them though imo.
I just got a 2006 zx12r. I already have a 2002 zx9r for some years. To change the plugs on the 9, i remove the airfilter (very easy). Is that not possible/or more difficult on the 12? 😊

Much appreciated! Bought my second A1 model last year. Little apprehensive about some of the wrenching as it is a legacy bike. Thank you!
The spark plug tool in the Kawasaki tool kit works better... it has a rubber insert that pulls the plug out when removing the tool
Great video a big help bud
What tools did u use
Finally!! Thank you!!
So you replaced the best plugs for the zx12r, iridium one's that basically last forever, with inferior one's! what was the logic behind that?

It's all frame. No plastic airbox.
Okey, thanks! 😊👍🏻
How did you get the tubes out
Is iridium beter?
Yes & they last longer
The hard parts getting the coal packs off whith out damage them
I have this bike but this seems difficult
