- Here is the intro for the series plus a Race Game played for 4 cars which has never happen before until now. In the past, it was played for 4 season tickets to all L.A. sports teams. See how it played. Drew Carey hosts. In addition, you also see a playing of Double Prices.

She knew that price cold. Apple uses prices that end in 9 for iPads and accessories, so she knew it ended in 8. Probably 599 for the tablet 69 for the cover.

I'm still glad that they still used the Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour theme for the Car Cue. It's my favorite theme. Also, this game would almost guarantee you a car, regardless of how sucky you are (unless you REALLY suck and got none right)
In my honest & humble opinion, the Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour theme ended up being the most iconic Car Cue in TPIR history, slightly ahead of both Bean Stalker & Big Banana. It was the last one used regularly after Drew Carey's fifth season as host.
The odds of getting none right even on one pass are 37.5%. (There are 24 ways of arranging the four price tags. Of those, nine would have none right, eight would have one right, six would have two right and one is perfect.) Assuming the contestant is quick enough to make three passes, I think the contestant would come away with at least one prize about 90& of the time.

Aside from a perfect win on 3 Strikes for a massive superprize, you can't top this for daytime. At. All.

Yes, she did. If you'll note, she barely paid Drew any attention during the game description, instead taking cues from her group in the yellow shirts, arranging the tags. She and her group were well prepared that day.

Ironically she didn't act that impressed when the curtain first lifted to see 4 cars. Overall that game was pretty easy because anybody could tell the Wrangler should have been the most expensive followed by the Mitsubishi then the Chevy Colorado and then the Yaris since the Yaris is always a tiny economy car.
Now that's what I call: Quadruple play race game!! (Example: Triple Play + Race Game = Quadruple race game play!)

Dilly Dally actually, that lady bidding $669 would’ve lost. If you recall, it is the nearest to the actual retail price WITHOUT GOING OVER. Even if by $1, that lady would’ve lost.

Normally in this game if you got one price correct you win that prize. Even if she didn’t get all 4 and 1 or 2 correct she still would have won. He didn’t say you have to get all correct price to win.

I would say that 4 cars is one of the easier things they could have in Race Game -most people have a general idea of car prices of different types of vehicles. I think it is harder to price the random furniture and equipment that is usually offered in this game.

Anyone notice how in Double Prices the correct price had no comma while the incorrect price did have a comma?
I've noticed that historically TPIR never placed the comma in 4 digit prices, only 5 and the rare 6 digit numbers. They do seem to use the comma though in cash amounts
I think TPIR should have played the clangs & whoops sound effect for the win.
