Love that YT has these episodes. I only like the Bob Barker episodes. Every Sunday after church my grandparents would watch this. We would all have a cup of tea and a snack together and watch the show. This brings back the BEST memories ❤️🙏🏼
I watched Bob Barker host many of his famous "classic" Price Is Right Shows back in 1987-1988 while in college in Arizona.All my roommates at the time,one from Spain,another from Curacao,an island in the Caribbean,a third from Mexico,the 4th from Venezuela and a 5th from Minnesota,we ALL loved watching the show in between classes at our University! Bob Barker: I salute you! You are a great man! I hope you are doing well in 2021! You are the Best Game Show host ever.We all love you SO much.God Bless you Bob and The Price Is Right.
The show just isn't the same without Bob Barker. I remember my mom watching the price is right in the mornings when I was a kid. I always loved Bob Barkers funny comebacks. Nobody on this earth can host this show like Bob Barker did. Man these were the days
You’re right, it isn’t the same… In some ways (some, not all,) it’s actually better now than it was in the last few years of Bob’s tenure. I mean no disrespect to him because he helped make it the hit it has been for the last 50 years and counting, but it was honestly a bit offputting to see how cranky/impatient/short tempered he would get with contestants in his older years. Also, I love that Drew keeps the show moving along, but makes it less about himself and more about the contestants, the models and everyone else, and is genuinely happy/excited for them when they win; and that’s not even getting into all the various specially themed episodes that have become common place. Could you imagine Bob Barker having Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, grandparents day and/or back to school specials with children as contestants being helped out by the aforementioned adults? Or episodes honoring cancer survivors? What about Valentine’s Day episodes with couples, episodes dedicated to expecting mothers, or an April fools day episode where the models hosted/announced while Drew and George modeled the prizes?
My dear late mother loved him. Drew Carey is a good replacement, but those fake-outs he did with Golden Road and Grand Game were hilarious. Bob was unintentionally funny.

I always liked at Christmas time how the folks on TPIR had the set decorated. Check out some of the episodes of the 1970's and 1980's for some nicely decorated sets with garland, trees and lights. Thank you, Bob Barker, for giving many people some great memories. 50:57, Rachel looks cute in that elf outfit. 53:00, she looks great in that swimsuit too.

And when they reveal the price being $2,600, if I were that lady, I would have leaned forward into the mic and said "I guess it must have been a king!"
The updated “Pick-A-Pair” was a much better improvement than the original. It was easy to pick any of the products to match rather than rotating products on a Ferris Wheel where it took too darn long.

Bob was so curt all of the time. I was so glad when his arrogant butt left the show and Drew Carey took over. He was racist, too. Whenever a excited black woman got on stage he'd always run from her hugging him. And so many of his models accused him of sexual impropriety. He is NOT missed.

The original version of Pick-A-Pair used to have the products on a Ferris wheel and there'd be carnival music.
The updated “Pick-A-Pair” was a much better improvement than the original. It was easy to pick any of the products to match rather than rotating products on a Ferris Wheel where it took too darn long.
