Tasmania 5- day Roadtrip in Winter

Watch our Tasmanian Roadtrip in August when we managed to pick the best week. The weather was just perfect: warm in Hobart, sunny&snowy in the mountains. Not to mention the lack of tourists. Tassie is amazing in Winter. What else we needed? Maybe the Aurora Australis, no problem, next time.

Did there so windy and cold? I am planning there mid August, but not sure can go to Cradle Montain as snowing, not safe for driving? looking forward your suggestion, thx mate
