- Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas has called for pro-Palestine protestors on university campuses to watch a documentary about Hamas, “on the off chance” students “don’t actually know” what they are protesting about.
“You would like to get the documentary, which is freely available,” he told Sky News Australia host Danica Di Giorgio.
“You would like to take that into the universities around the country and say, before you go out and protest, on the off chance you don’t actually know what it is you are protesting about, how about you just have a look at this documentary.
“Let that sink in and then see if you want to go and protest the way that you are carrying on at the moment.
“The sooner they get that in front of people, the better.”

People have this mentality that the Palestinians are all innocent and that Hamas are an anomaly in that area. Polls and research suggest that most Palestinians support Hamas and their actions. The pro-Palestinian protests that we've seen and the lack of Palestinians who are denouncing Hamas show that those polls are probably correct and is probably why so many Muslim nations in the Middle East are not accepting Palestinian refugees.

I said from the beginning that if they wanted to March - FIRST they had to know WHO they were supporting. I’m a student of languages with the intention of becoming an interpreter and translator.
I’m in my final year and an early gen Z. I grew up with two pragmatic parents who actually taught me to think for myself.
In my Italian classes, all references to masculine and feminine nouns have been removed. They’ve all been changed to “green” and “orange” categories. This is one thing in a long list of ways to try to be politically correct.
I keep all my notes with the traditional terms as every other bloody resource out there will use those terms. If you’re offended by an arbitrary system for categorising nouns then maybe you shouldn’t be learning a Romance language full stop?!

As soon as pro Hamas rallies started I sent messages to all these media types , politicians, influential people who claimed support of Israel , about organising pro Israel 🇮🇱, rallies , marches, , putting messages out that one was to be held , never got any reply from any of these people
