  • Mining billionaire Gina Rinehart has addressed The Australian Bush Summit in Perth, saying that most farmers are unable to afford net zero.
“With the consequences, Aussies and the towns will see huge food price increases and fresh food shortages, this is the maths that has to be brought in too,” Ms Rinehart said.
“There’s quite a bit of government tape that would make life better if removed.”

@@FranksHairSalon Gina has a brilliant brain and speaking common sense. Australia is going down hill, in so many ways, and it is all because the Elite of our world, George Soros, Bill Gate, Rockefellers, Rothschilds, big Corporations and Banks etc. putting pressure on our politicians. Their Agenda is to break western world's finance, make us totally broke, using climate change to get gullible people onboard. We will be dependent on import of food, if it can get here is another question because of wars. How will our gov have money to social security & pension, if not enough production and export happening? While Asian countries building their Countries up to be independent and export all kinds of products, even coal. Western Countries will be the poor ones soon, if we keep going down this road of closing mines and trying to save the whole world, with Net Zero. ( IF we could get our world down to Net Zero, not only would trees and vegetation die, but so will humans too.) When we have suffered enough and can't take it anymore, these elite will introduce their help, and we will say, YES TO ANYTHING just to not have to go hungry! Her call to end the destruction of prime agricultural land by massive wind and solar farms is also on point. I think her best point was deregulation - which is the most effective way to unleash our national potential. Especially in the northern quarter. Where I don't doubt regulations prevent an insurmountable barrier to opening the region up to agricultural, and possibly industrial, development.

We need to protect agriculture and also value add to our mineral resources, we should export steel not Iron ore, at least a balance, SMR technology is ready now and can be operational in less than a decade. Just install at the site of existing coal fire generators and plug into the grid, far less damage, more reliable and long lasting. getting 70+ years from the same investment as opposed to an unreliable 20? years. One really good hail storm in NSW will destroy much of the solar collectors and wind turbines do far to much damage for their meager input.

How did she get to be the richest person in WA ? by selling the minerals which rightfully belong to ALL West Australians or more correctly ALL Australians , she could be called a thief for this but of course this is not her fault the law allows this to happen.
It is time Australians demanded the nationalisation of all minerals and resources so that the massive wealth that the likes of Rhinehart make from them can be equally shared among ALL Australians .

where do we store nuclear waste? Do W.A. have any good sites. We currently have French and English nuclear waste at Lucas Heights. If everyone in the world switches to nuclear, where do we put the waste? We use nuke for 50 years until renewables are up to speed and we finish with nuclear. We are on the wrong side of the Russian/Saudi oil cartel. We need to move away from oil anyway. We buy Hydrogen from the Kiwis.........
