Thanks for the vid. My wife and I just played the base game (her parents gave it to us) and it was great! Similar to Risk but keeps things interesting and has a high replayability. I like the idea of Tales and Legends. Scenarios would be great!
You've misunderstood the 'cursed' power. If you do not want to pick the cursed race, you have to pay three victory coins instead of one, not take out three of your race tokens. Makes it a lot better.
@@benjaminlarenasveas3119 I've never seen it have that many, cos some wuss always takes it at 9 (at best). In fact, if it gets to that level and no one takes it, I have to take it, and, invariably, lose the game. What a great rule! The only way to stop this stinking train is by losing the game! But, like I said, if you like it, and derive pleasure from it, all power to you.
River world is not just those two bags of tokens. Honestly... It’s got X2 double sided boards. Adds another whole map for any size player. And it’s one of my fav expansions because of that. You missed all that. I don’t understand how.
I clearly got you fired up. Let me address all of your myriad complaints and insults in turn. I did, indeed, miss out the board. What I didn't express was that the stuff in the bags was 'game content', like 'this is what is added to the board'. I mean, there are so many things to hate about that expansion, I must have glossed over expressing that point. (Board is like assumed content-I meant new stuff).
As someone else said - you’re playing cursed completely wrong. Terribly wrong. It can work great with skeletons or amazonians that have lots of characters without the power card adding anything. And as many folk pay x3 coins to skip it, it can be worth taking the cursed for the money on the token. Then you put them straight into decline. Try it
I know how to play the game. I play it every day (on the app), when not with people. 'Cursed' is still terrible. Losing those three tokens can be mitigated, especially if everyone does it, but I've never seen the person who takes the piddly number of points (usually 6) and then put a 5 or so tokens on the map not get whooped. It's just bad news for everyone, painful, and adds nothing positive. But, in real life, I take it out, no problem. If you like it, all power to you. It seems like you have made it work.
Ah, someone who's identified the real mistake. Yes, I meant 'Underworld'. I'm pleased this video didn't sink into obscurity. That bugged me after a made it. But making videos and not being paid for it is an arse, so I'm gonna live with it.
I just remembered what I meant. This is something I forget to say. Each scenario is perfectly doable the reverse of the level, so an 'Underworld' scenario can be played as an...erm...'Overworld' scenario and vice versa. Therefore, you end up with 24. Should have said that. I wanted to wrap up the video though. I thought I'd waxed lyrical enough.
If you disagree with Ed, tell him. We usually do. ;)

Small World Realms has been out of print and hard to get.
I'll be sure to let Ed know. It's still rather easy to pick up here in Taiwan.
BGG sellers are selling it at US$45. For the amount you get, that is great.

If I said it wrong, I knew it was points. Still horrible. Although I did make it work against the ap ai today...
@@edmundbloxam2714 It's definitely not horrible when it's got 12-15 points on top! Especially on the last turn :)

Yeah you got ripped off. Clearly a manufacturing error if you didn’t get the four river maps. You should update this video and remove the errors

Seriously a lot incorrect on this video. Perhaps make it again?
No. What are you talking about? Videos take ages. Pay me to make another one.
@@edmundbloxam2714 because you screwed this one up you want people to pay you to make another one? Brilliant.

Realms has 12 scenarios. Not 20-25 as you said.
See below. I'm gonna reply to someone else.
What is underground? How come that’s not in here? And realms comes with only 12 base scenarios
