    I'm buying a existing cemetery it has 26 acres of land and a mausoleum.
    I'm looking to add a cremation house, & a repass or service venue, & a flower shop... how would I add this to my business plan to make sense for time line and expenses needed? And to know what i need to get zoning for that covers everything?

    I enjoyed this video very much. thank you. It came into my head last night with a vision so to speak, of opening a cemetery. I wonder what a good size is, or whats recommend . Also I have many creative and some very new mixed with traditional and extremely traditional and more old worldish ideas as well. a bit unconventional but when bounced around with many different peers I get a lot of Positive feedback. some very cool plans that I personally haven't heard of anyone doing yet to be vague about it. But always having classy and respectful place to lay your loved ones to rest. I want to give people a reason to come back you know? Also I like the idea of an above ground cemetery. I live in Miami Dade County and for several reasons I think it a good way to go. id love to get some feed back, suggestions or a best place to start maybe. I am an entrepreneur with experience in, well, quite a lot of different things. Id probably forget a few if I tried to list them and have opened a few businesses of my own, many of which where maybe 5 years to early haha. Im currently in real estate school to add to my various abilities. I have basic questions as this came to me only last night. I may have all the right cards available for this venture at this time so please! any help is welcome . Thank you.

    I'm starting a cemetery, I want to ask if the the 50 years Financial Forecast Scenario chart applies for private cemeteries as well? Thank you

    • @SkadiGhost
      @SkadiGhost 3 года назад +1

      The 50 year forecast projections you see in this presentation can apply to private cemeteries. We have done projections for municipalities, religious, non-profit and private for-profit cemeteries using this model. Though we do customize the variables in each projection scenario depending on the cemetery's community future needs assessement, its profile of offerings, and site specific considerations such as Provincial/State regulations (for example: local regulations regarding Perpetual Care Funds).

      @@vivaquitocarajo There are a several options out there. The best choice will depend on the complexity of your operations, and how well the software integrates with your existing computer system. Stone Orchard Software is a popular choice and a favorite among many of the cemetery managers we work with. It is user friendly and produces very useful reports. Other good options out there include Pontem Software and HMIS by Batesville.
