- I made a video of the fabulous supermodel Ruslana Korshunova who took her own life on June 28, 2008 at around 2:30 p.m., Korshunova died after falling from the ninth-floor balcony of her apartment at 130 Water Street in Manhattan's Financial District. Police stated there were no signs of a struggle in her apartment and concluded that Korshunova's death is an apparent suicide. One of her friends stated that Korshunova had just returned from a modeling gig in Paris, noting that she seemed to be on top of the world with no apparent reason why she would commit suicide. Korshunova's former boyfriend, Artem Perchenok, said he dropped Korshunova off at her apartment several hours before her death after they watched the Demi Moore film Ghost together. She was a good person, he told The New York Post. However, she appeared brokenhearted and angry in some of her postings on a social networking site. Korshunova's most telling message came three months ago: I'm so lost. Will I ever find myself? Another posting read: It hurts, as if someone took a part of me, tore it out, mercilessly stomped all over and threw it out. One cryptic entry in March reads:
My dream is to fly. Oh, my rainbow it is too high. Other postings revealed anger:
I'm a bitch. I'm a witch. I don't care what you say ... I know why my other relationships didn't work out, 'cause I'm unpredictable.

I see so much sadness and lonelyness in her eyes but I also see life and light there too.. Humans are delicate creatures trying to find balances... I know people choose to end their lives daily..but I've never felt that was how her life ended

the prettiest little damned soul since marilyn monroe. and for the record, noone who actually saw the room, or examined the body found anything to suggest that this was anything but suicide. and they would know better than internet conspiracy theorists who want to believe that she was to pretty to be depressed, and could not do this to herself.

Справедливости ради надо сказать,что фигура у неё была НЕ красивая для девушки-мальчуковая- узкий таз,отсутствие талии и широкие плечи. Но глупую ,нарциссичную девчонку да,жалко. Руслана- мальчик со смазливой мордочкой и волосами, которые отрастила ей МАМА. И которые ей ИСПОРТИЛИ работодатели ,а она настолько НЕ ИМЕЛА Достоинства ,что даже НЕ сопротивлялась. И обряжали её частенько в отвратительные тряпки и она тоже НЕ сопротивлялась У ВСЕХ ОБЯЗАНО быть Достоинство ,особенно у человека, который НА ВИДУ и с которого должны брать ПРИМЕР. @karoliana we do not only regret beautifull people, it's just that she was famous, so many ppl " knew " her, so its logical she has some tribute videos on the internet, and it doenst mean that if a girl ugly and lonely died, its less tragical or whatever. suicide is awlays horrible, famous or not, beautiful or ugly.
@electrikevin @electrikevin but most of the time no one takes the time to ask you how you feel and want to see who you really are. moving everywhere around the world, without real home, real friends, just being a face, a cover of a magazine. i'm saying that because i felt really touched by model Daul Kim suicide, if you read her blog you notice easisly she was really clever, deep, sentitive, but no one really cared about it
@karoliana i think the ppl who wrote " what a waste she was so beautiful " don't know her and just see the fact that she was really pretty and now dead. but let's not judge ppl on their facade, it's not because you're pretty and a model that you're happy, a model isnt creative/productive, you're just " a thing we put clothe on", a model had any reason to be famous or happy , it's all about a face, how would you feel if many ppl love your just because of your face or your celebrity ?

The fact you brought the case of the fat girl who nobody cared about proves you wrong, because it means you are just angry that she didn't get the same attention, but was your friend of any relevance to the people outside of her circle? See Ruslana was a celebrity, a pretty one, and beauty is an extremely important factor in our civilization and attractive people will always get attention, live with it, if you cant be beautiful, then get good a something else, until then you are just another guy

you could have worded that a little better. anyway i go back to basic physics, she was better than 100 ft. in the air, and she jumped out, not strait down. theres nothing odd about her landing where she did.
@DEMONOBABEN your logic is that the police in NY would not want to interfer because of the russian mob, who you choose to believe are responsible for her death. which doesnt make alot of sense (to me) but i would say that if she killed herself which makes alot more sense (to me). then im sure she had a reason, maybe not a good reason, but she decided that she had one. also, statistically speaking suicides rarely leave a note, they dont want to justify ending thier life they just want it over.
@DEMONOBABEN where did you get the number 15 meters? for the record, that would be about a 5 story building. you say 13 stories but the news reported her 9th story apartment. figure 10 foot ceilings standard, it had to be around a 100 ft which is about a 30 meter drop.

your saying (seriously) that you believe that someone hurled her off the side of a building in broad daylight like that? It makes more sense to you that someone threw a knocked out 100(ish) pounds of deadwieght over a balcony. that alone makes it more logical that she jumped, and got some distance between her and the building. had she been thrown she would have just gone strait down.

there is Nothing good that comes from suicide. not hers, or yours or anyone elses. to even seriously consider taking that much away from the people around you is selfish to the point of disgusting. i have been close, but i pulled myself out of it. for you to say that because she is dead, now your lost or alone or ready to die is crazy. she chose to kill herself, she is dead. there is nothing about her that should ever be considered an example to follow.

you prattle on the conspiracy theories asif you know what your talking about. the idea that she jumped from the building next door? what could you possibly have to base that on? saying they didnt fingerprint or check videos or do any kind of investigation into this is rediculous. the investigation was done to the letter, b/c the reputation of both the police and of everyone attached to the hotel was riding on it. You have nothing but internet spin to base accusations like these on & its funny.

your suggesting that the investigation was either done halfassed, or not at all, if that were true, which its not, there would be people in authority to blame for it. i defy you to give me the name and rank of the officer who went on vacation, and the name of the detective who took over for her or him. these are public officials, that isnt secret. and the "blanket of anonymity" is a convienient ploy.
