So I take it there were no hotels in the area . My days of camping outdoors Fabian , forget it too many mosquito bites , waking up in A tent with A Scorpion right right next to my head , it' called forget this no more . As always Fabian you have some beautiful , gorgeous photos keep up the great work and I'm glad you're talking about the R5 Mk II in A previous episode , I was going to purchase one so now after seeing the disaster of this camera forget it .
You’re not playing about! 100-300 & the 600 is a awesome setup. That mean you left the 100-500 at home? Once on the laptop, do you time machine or manual/other backup to an external? Looks like you had great time to yourself and a great mental reset
Thanks, it was definitely nice to enjoy some quite time. Yes, I left the 100-500 at home. During photography trips I just copy the photos manually to a second (and sometimes third) hard drive/ssd
Terrific images!
Thanks

Thanks! There were accomodations, but camping is for free and I prefer the outdoor life.
What do you mean with disaster? The drop in image quality?
One way to reduce heat in a backpacking tent is to put up a small tarp for shading. Doesnt work in high wind but then you might not need it.
Yes, I was thinking to buy one before I left, but was not sure if it would be worth it
Thank you for the video, as always it was really nice!
Thanks

8:22 how did you achieve 840mm? Some built-in crop as Nikon DX?
Sounds like 600mm + 1.4x converter to me.
Thanks! I used the 1.4 TC
there is minimal mistype f/4 should be f/5.6
Uups, copy paste error. Thanks for pointing it out
How much did you use the 2x in your videos?
Not a lot, just for some clips
