This entire day has been so hard, wanting to be pleasing to God but feeling like my sin was too great... read Psalm 147:11 and resolved to keep that at the forefront of my mind, not let my emotions change the truth... asked God to make it clear to me if he was pleased, and if not, to help me change... and a couple hours later this comes out. I'm crying. I feel like he's telling me it's all okay. God is so good. Thank you for letting him use you.
I love this comment - I felt the exact same thing just this morning and instantly prayed to God to break the chain I was feeling. Few mins after, I went up my room and saw a rainbow. I just remembered when God made a rainbow appear after the Flood, and he made an everlasting covenant with Noah. It was so clear that God was reminding me that He has a commitment to have a relationship with me and so I didn't have to go in hiding again.
Father in Jesus name, thank you for Sister Pauline and her heart of worship. May we be a pleasing fragrance to you. May we be less and Jesus more. this seems so real raw and authentic and it refreshed and resonated with my wrestling and tired spirit this evening while washing dishes. sometimes all you can do is agree with someone worshipping, but then i felt that stir in my heart to go do the same and lift my own voice in worship. Thankyou ❤
