- Hi family ◡̈ I hope everyone is safe and well ~ It's been sick season so please keep warm and take care of yourselves!
As I sat down before this set and asked God what direction He wanted to lead into, I just felt the theme of rest. I had no topic, theme or agenda going into this set and yet all that I felt led into was these two passages in the Bible:
"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
- Matthew 11:28-30
"Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful." - Hebrews 10:19-23
I felt as though the Holy Spirit highlighted how God is so kind and gentle, welcoming us to rest with Him and come as we are to be purified by the blood of His Son, Jesus. I felt God reminding me that there is no guilt and shame when we enter His presence because of Jesus and His great sacrifice. I felt God remind me of His supernatural love, grace, and safety.
"Come and rest. Learn from Me."
Recently a lot of transitions both emotional and physical have been happening in my life. I recently quit my corporate job, I got a new worship pastor role at a church, I have been navigating through changing communities and current/ new relationships as wisely as I can, I have been seeking to dig deeper in the secret place, and etc. This holiday/ winter season (this year in fact tbh AHAHAHAH) has been so busy and so far, looks like it's only going to get busier. I am incredibly blessed and thankful for the many opportunities that the Lord has been giving me, challenges He has been giving me to stretch myself and grow, and doors He's been opening for me so that I can dream with Him. But in these moments I've honestly found myself getting a little burnt out.
There have been a lot of things both emotional and situational that I've felt lost on how to handle. Things that are out of my control or things that I need to address that feel overwhelming when thinking of it all at once. I've asked God for more direction, guidance, and help than I ever have before. Each new day I feel like I have another decision to make (and decisions are so stressful for me because I always get anxiety on making the perfect choice and not messing up). Everything feels full speed and I'm still learning how to set healthier boundaries. It feels like decisions need to be made and changes need to happen before I feel fully prepared to handle them.
But here, all I feel from the Lord is the tug into the secret place. There's so many times the Lord won't give me a direct answer to my questions or problems, but instead will give me peace which abounds all understanding as the Holy Spirit fills me with faith that He is in control. That He will take care of me, that He will prepare me for everything as long as I keep my focus on Him. Because of my busy-ness I have been filled with thoughts and anxiety that have kept me from being able to sit still and longer in the presence of God.
I feel guilty that I don't have it figured out, or that I don't have enough faith bc I'm still worried, or doubt that I won't hear Him correctly, and etc. But I've just been reminded through this set and His kind shepherding that He just wants to spend time with me. That God loves me so much and will take care of me. That He doesn't call me to things because I'm qualified or expected to know how to handle everything, but because of His will and plan for His glory. That He knows where I struggle and lack. That He knows how much I need Him to get through my everyday.
"I'm sorry Lord for always getting caught up. Help me God in everything in my life. I need you in every decision and next step, I am so weak and unable. Give me wisdom and humility to live out my life in the way that you lead. Teach me your ways so I can learn from you. Equip me with all that I need to step into all that you're calling me into. I love you Lord. Keep me humble, pure, and pleasing in your sight."
So if you're tired or overwhelmed like me, I invite you to sit with our Father ◡̈ I pray that the Holy Spirit would guide your soul into rest in God's presence. I hope you know that you are welcome with open arms, time and time again, to sit in intimate relationship with God, and I pray that He'd fill you with peace and hope which abounds all understanding. You're doing great ◡̈

Hi there, I'm not sure what you're name is so I'm sorry I can't say your name directly, but I'm so sorry that life and situations have brought you to such a place of tiredness and weakness. But I really truly know our God is a God who is near to the broken and I am interceding for you that He would give you a BIGGGGG hug and that you'd hear Him speaking over you that He will carry you and take care of you. Keep fighting! You really got this with the Lord! I'm so thankful I can run beside you, and really hope that you draw deeper into intimacy with the Lord unlike anything you could've ever imagined.
Jesus loves you so much. He wants to set your free from your burdens and give you a new life as a new creation in Christ. The old is gone the new is here. You don't have to feel any shame or condemnation in Jesus. He loves you right where you are.

Feeling useless…it is so difficult not to tie our worth to our usefulness 😅.
But it isn’t our usefulness that makes us worth something…it’s the price He paid for us that gives us worth.
He will put us where He wants to use us…don’t struggle to be useful…be instead willing. Just be willing to be obedient and He will use you ❤️
My head has been spinning about so many things. My finances my family my friends. My disobedience causing my financial problems, being a better Christian being a better mother. And the word of the day on the bible app was proverbs 3:5-6 and this video has been in my recommended for some days. Thanks for posting! I actually struggle with GAD and know how freaking scary and hard it is to deal with anxiety attacks :( and I'm sure life is so hard that it's pushing you to a place of anxiety... I too am going through a lot and is easy for me to fall in fear, but God gave me Isaiah ch.54. It's a serious process for me to hear the Holy Spirit so I asked for confirmation. He surprisingly gave me confirmation the same day (Which occasionally occurs because typically He has me wait). I feel comforted, joyful, relaxed, confident and in peace despite of being in the storm. I am reassured that no weapons formed against me nor any of you in Christ shall prosper. God is about to set forth a whirlwind against all enemies, both natural and supernatural that have been at war in your lives and family. This will be a new year of rest and great things to come. Continue abiding in Him and don't give up. Do not let distractions take hold of what God is doing in you. I love you my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Jesus, I'm so tired inside. I'm anxious and it's making me physically sick constantly. I'm having such a hard time being all-in with you and balancing all I need to do. Lord- I long to worship you with all I am but I also feel like I'm spending so much of myself on the toil of this world and I have nothing left to give. But Jesus, you know. You know what I have left. And that I have left, I pour out to you in full surrender.
What a beautiful surrender. In Mark 12:41-44 when the widow gave all that she had as her offering, Jesus was so blessed by that. God knows the weight of that surrender and I struggle with bad anxiety as well, and I know how exhausting it is to feel at the end of yourself after fighting through not only your catastrophic thoughts but even the physical manifestations of anxiety/fear in your body, but I believe with faith that God can heal and save and I pray that He would strengthen you and comfort you with His nearness. That you would be filled with peace which abounds all understanding and that you would be freed from all anxiety in JESUS NAME! God loves you !

Hello Jeeye. The day I saw this video I was so tired...I didn't even read the description until now. You don't have to respond to this. (Please keep healthy boundaries).
I just wanted to say that people are praying for you. We are one in Jesus and He is upholding us. I pray that God will give you the words that can ease your anxiety, give direction, and increase trust/faith in Him.
If not words, just a knowing by His Spirit. I try to make sure I spend time alone with God in that secret place, get rid of distractions, minimize stress, and worship Him. But I also know (the hard way) that its not good to isolate ourselves.
I believe there is a shaking going on (described in Hebrews and Haggai) meant to remove false foundations that were not eternal so that what is eternal remains: Love and the Kingdom of God in my opinion.
Thank you Jeeye for helping us bear our burdens with your beautiful voice and the word of God. There is a proverb that states whoever refreshes others will be refreshed themselves. Thanks again.

Beautiful worship it was pure, genuine, and sincere. I been with the lord Jesus over 4 years and i have come to learn not all worship songs are pure or sincere some songs don't even lead you to pray. I stop listening to hillsong, elevation because their motive is fame and money however God still uses them to bring people to Him. But on the other hand it was hard for me to just listen to anybody God knows the heart and motives of people He cannot be deceive. Just listening to you worship God from a sincere place gave me peace and I rejoice for sisters and brothers that are worshiping God from the heart. Hi. My name is Jessica. Since November I started to read my Bible regularly all because I saw a challenge someone was doing, and I love a challenge, so I tried, and it stuck. I found my quiet time in the morning. I had motivation, which for me was new because I lacked it reading in the past. Fast forward to today I am tired dealing with PMS. I called out of work to rest. I read the title of this video and clicked. I read your post and related to so many of your feelings. From dealing with transitions to new things happen with little to no idea what's happening, simply trusting Gods plan and watching it unfold. I put down my laptop, took off my heating pad and laid on the floor for 25 minutes straight listening and having peace and quiet for a moment made me think I should be doing something (because I've been so busy lately) instead, I stayed put and got past it. It was a beautiful moment. Thanks for posting :) Gods given you a beautiful talent to share and gifted way of communicating.

This video helped me in many ways just by hearing this I just started crying I have been struggling with my relationship with God, I couldn’t talk to him or pray the same and felt me fade away from him, while still going to church while still praying I couldn’t feel him.
