My sister has bought her kids a Hermann's Tortoise for Christmas. It's a complete surprise for them and they're picking it up on Christmas eve. I cannot wait to see their faces when they see it - I haven't been this excited for Christmas eve since I was a kid!
Hi Kenan I enjoy the your tour to check out on how all your reptiles are doing. They are all ok, just hungry. I bet the turtles enjoy the extra water, and mud. Cindy
few days ago we got four to six inches of rain here in Broward County. It is very important if you have an outdoor enclosure to have drainage. Baby iguanas and box turtles can drown if there is deep standing water. You have to plan for mother nature's surprises !
Those aldabras make my sulcata look like a red ered slider def my favorite animal ever so beautiful. There are some at this petstore on Hillsborough 7,000 im saving for one
Wow!! Kamp kenan is a dream place for me....its what I imagine heaven looks like!! Seriously you have made an amazing beautiful place and you should be so proud......thank you so much for sharing with us...EXCELLENT video. Have a wonderful day! If u need a live in helper I can be there tomorrow...I'm not joking...😁
Hi sweetheart I was just wondering how old your biggest tortoises are I love your property it's absolutely gorgeous the animals are so blessed to have somebody like you take care of them thank you so much for sharing
Ants are no joke ! Even the little black ones. I had a pet Squirrel for 14 years before it got sick and died. He slept in my room in a cage . One day I'm looking at his cage and I see a piece of corn walking out of his cage to the floor then down my heating vent. I thought I was seeing stuff.😳 So I got down on the carpet to see what was going on and I seen a small trail of black ants . Then all the sudden I feel this incredible burning on my legs. I look down and about twenty ants are biting me ! Talk about jumping up and freaking out ! I ran down the stair grabbed my vacuum and sucked what I could find up ! Then moved the cage and sprayed . I will never forget it because I thought they didn't bite. Boy ! Did my legs itch ! So I hope they aren't biting him.
Yo you should put some like mesh over the part where the leaves block up the filter then you could have it on hooks or something then just take it off as all the leaves will be on it then you can just shake it off and all the leaves are out
Fire ants are no joke I would get on that as soon as I stopped the video it didn’t look like a big colony but still it’s crazy to see how wet Florida has been in the winter
You are an awesome reptile keeper. I have been a reptile lover since about 10 years old. Keep up the great work breeding and taking care of your animals.
To the theory you have on the water i think your correct i put in sticks to my fish tanks and they release tanins i like to do it cus i believe it enriches them even if they are tank raised
Kenan I love that you're pointing out the benefits of the leaves and needles falling into the water!!! We use leaf litter and drift wood in aquariums because as they break down they leave tannins in the water, giving it that tea look. Tannins are amazing for many purposes, but some of the best among them are anti oxidant, anti microbial, anti fungal, anti bacterial properties! Much like the mud with snapping turtle and other turtle species shells, that natural liter has countless benefits that we don't realize help these animals in captivity! Also algae in the water bowl to an extant can be beneficial, it helps to break down nitrates & ammonia along with other pollutants. Some species of Iguana will scrape algae off of rocks in the wild for food, so could be a free treat for them in your setups too!! Thank you for all the amazing work you do man, and I hope this fish/aquatic nerdgasm helps with something!
Speaking of sterile environments, I read about an unscientific study about kids and dogs. It said homes with dogs and young kids - the kids have less allergies later in life because when they were young they came in constant contact with dogs who had all sorts of germs, and the more contact helped their immune system get stronger.
In another unscientific study, homes with kids in houses where people smoke cigarettes- the kids are less likely to get lung cancer and less likely to want to smoke because when they were young they came in constant contact with cigarette smoke which have nicotine in them and it helped there immune system be stronger.
I recently read, in a pollinator group, that bees prefer puddles to clean-water bowls of water (& marbles). It was said the puddles are mineral rich and may include vitamins and other stuff they need. So, I suspect your beliefs are valid.
I adore the way you love all of your animals. You can just see how happy they are to be around you. My fave has to be when you were petting Nostradamas. I've seen the feeding tours and it never gets old. You definitely never run out of chores. That was a cool in depth tour after the rains. Your passion for these awesome reptiles keeps me coming back. Thank you!
The reasons why I love & subscribe your channel is because your kamp, the entire animal that you have, the plants and it's look like a big realistic terrarium. Awesome job man! Respect from Indonesian fans.
@Kamp Kenan, That ficus probably could do with some trimming, to concentrate its growth closer to the trunk so it focuses on those tendrils that you like.
I have seen a few instances of lizards grouped like touching or on top of each other. Do they have body heat like we do even though they are cold blooded. Are they keeping themselves warm?
Thank you for letting us enjoy you and all your babies. I really enjoy it too
The animals are amazing, but all the plants are to die for!!. 😍😍😍
THE LIZARDS ARE BAD ASS
Lots of beautiful babies 🥰

You should grow pot! Your yard is perfect!

Don’t know how I started watching. Not overly fond of lizards but your enthusiasm is catching. Thanks for sharing. 🤗 love the habitats.
Fire ants are no joke I would get on that as soon as I stopped the video it didn’t look like a big colony but still it’s crazy to see how wet Florida has been in the winter
C and c tortoises in Victoria, BC have hatched Burmese star tortoises, if you'd ever consider raising some fyi.
Those water and food dishes need a good scrubbing 🧽 .... must have rained alot
Kenan, how about a small screen to keep bamboo leave out of pump. Wouldn't have to move rock and reach in. Just scrape away. Just an idea.
I love when you do the walkthroughs of the Kamp. So appreciate of Scotty Cranmer for bringing me to your channel. Two of the best guys on RUclips.

Why dont u use chest mounted camera or head mounted one? So u can use both of ur hands when doing stuff around the sanctuary..
He does sometimes.
Looks quite awesome when flooded with that marsh look

How big is your property
Can you do a video where you go over the origins of how you got your animals and their backstories? It would be very interesting to see.
The property looks great after the hurricane cleanup. Great job. 👍❤️
Is Kyle done with crocodile pens???
Try Hercules in with Darwin, Nostradamus and Socrates.
I want Hercules.
I just love Kamp walkabouts with ya Kenan. Thanks for taking us along. :)
Those new houses look so smart 🙂
What kind of fencing will you be using for the gators?
The reasons why I love & subscribe your channel is because your kamp, the entire animal that you have, the plants and it's look like a big realistic terrarium. Awesome job man! Respect from Indonesian fans.
Your life is goals brotha love the way you keep your animals

Can stumps and the girls get a more bigger enclosure to run around
What's the best type of tortoise to start with ? And can you keep just one ? A smaller size one.
How do you get rid of ants in outdoor enclosures ??
Those tortoises honestly know your voice and come running from where ever. Love it! ❤
