Weird question that I literally cannot find an answer to ANYWHERE - I want to create my own diy solid paint sticks. I have acrylic paints I never use, and thought 🤔 Hmm, acrylic paint dries pretty fast, so what if I put acrylic paint into a lip balm tube/crayon-y shaped mold, let it become a solid, then... Wallah! Paint Stick? Ps. Love this video!! I love playing around with diy ideas 😊 Much love! 💞
Hi, I have tried this years back. I used 80% beeswax and 20% carnauba wax and pigment color but when I tried to use it, it is not giving color. What do you think is the problem?
Bee's wax! You can get it at most large craft stores. I haven't tried making crayons with candle wax, but I'd imagine it would work alright. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes 😄
I love seeing how other companies make their crayons as a small art supply business❤ I use a mix of soy wax, vaseline, and parrafin wax!
