Hey, really thanks for your work! I was wandering if you could help me with a trouble on launchpad X: I activated the "Legacy" mode (with the purple button) and now my Session button is disabled. Do you know a way to turn launchpad X to its normal mode and functionality? Thanks, i really can't find any information anyware on the internet.
When playing an old launchpad cover using legacy mode, is there a dedicated user 1 button i need to press before being able to play the project? I just cant seem to get any past projects to work. (im new and this is my first launchpad)
hey man, is there any version of this but with the pro mk3. I can't find any tutorials anywhere for it to set it up with ableton. Preferences are completely different and session doesn't give a Legacy mode option for me, I've tried everything. I'm aware the pro MK3 is more so for music production than the other pads but I was hoping to get it working still, thanks.
Hey man, so I thought the pro mk3 was very similar in setup but I could be wrong. If you manage to update your pro mk3 firmware it should enable the Legacy Mode feature which I think you can access by pressing the “Setup” button on the pro, I can try my best to help but I think that’s a good start for the moment. By the way, big fan, keep it up :)
@@PattrickNM thank you dude. I managed to get it working. Turns out it is similar but without the animation. I had a few issues originally with the firmware update as it wasn’t working through my system. Got there in the end, thank you for the help and I appreciate the support on my channel too 🎉 :)
What can i do with the latency? I mean when I want to record/loop keys, synths but Insbesondere the drums...so when I hit the button its has a latency and I can't do it fast and accurantly! Pls help!
There are different methods to using your launchpad but if you would like to use your launchpad for performances like people such as Kaskobi, you would use ableton, but there are mobile apps out there that replicate this in which I'm not informed about on how to use
With ableton you would click the “Missing Media Files” tab at the bottom that should be in an orange box and then on the right side of ableton another tab should pop up to set the directory of the project and you would let ableton search that folder for the missing files, if this doesn’t work I suggest joining the Kaskobi discord server and talking to the support staff
i have seen many yt videos , alot but im still not able to setup my launchpad x, i have the project file but i dont know how to put the sounds in the launchpad.pls help

Hi Patrick. I know im pretty late but i just got my Launchpad x. I have a problem. The problem is, i can't go into the legacy mode. The purple button is not showing on my Launchpad. What do i do?
@@mcray3645 when you try to update your launchpad, are you in bootloader mode? like at 1:55 in the video? and are you using chrome when updating from the website i have pinned?
Just purchased a launchpad x, the notes and custom modes work however the session mode and record midi button don’t work (and don’t light up either) anyone knows how to fix this??
So, it seems like a decent amount of people are running into this issue, I’m not 100% sure for the cause of this I’ve been looking into it, my best advice is to try a different USB port (preferably usb 3.0) and if you’re updating your launchpad through my pinned comment, to try the browsers Fire Fox or Chrome, and if those don’t work honestly I would contact Novation through the Live chat or email. I wish I knew the cause of this but honestly I’m at a loss

if that purple button isnt showing up that means you need to update your launchpad's firmware

I can’t connect my launchpad X at all I turn it on and turn it to boot loader when it tells me to but still won’t connect
Make sure you’re using chrome and that the website has permission to access midi

hey it says that my launchpad is not conected
When I click download components it literally just takes me to my hardware for some reason
odd, normally it would prompt you to login and then you can download it
When I do log in it still brings me back to the hardware page. I have done this multiple times to make sure
