Tommy, I’ve been watching your dad for years, now it’s a pleasure watching you two together.
These two are a great example of a good, respectful father son relationship.
Nothing like having that much “expense” in your hands and not being able to do nothing with it. No racing, no off roading, etc.... “Hey, quit breathing in it! That goes against the paperwork agreement!!”
No looking at the hatch. No sitting in the back. No 24 yro in the driver seat. No touching the dash with out rubber gloves on. No belts on to scratch the seats. No using the phone charger. No touching the glass. Don't use the radio. Oh heck with it, you are not allowed to write on the paperwork unless you pay for it 1st.
I honestly might have said, no, I’m not interested. That thing would be over $300,000 in Canadian dollars!!!
If you were letting a RUclips channel borrow your $270K car you would have some rules too. Especially if you look at their uploaded content and see off road content, track content, roller tests, etc. The Urus isn't a Jeep Grand Cherokee or a Ford Bronco Sport.
@@RysterARCEE - others have allowed them access to their expensive cars without such rules and regulations. They are protecting the vehicle obviously, but if they want to say it has off-road capabilities, they should allow them to show those capabilities. TFL have not returned damaged vehicles. Even Jaguar allowed them to off-road in the I-Pace. They were off-road in the Bentley and even banged the rear bumper quite hard. The Bentley executives the SUV laughed!! That is over $400,000.
I can afford this vehicle and if I decided to shop in this price range, I would possibly eliminate the Lamborghini from my search. To me, they clearly are not confident enough in this SUV to allow the attributes they try to use to sell it, be displayed. Once you reach this price range and like off-road use, the G-Wagon is the most likely candidate. TFL would not test the vehicle very much at all. They are too scared of damaging any expensive vehicles they get. Roman won’t even let them jump the Raptor or TRX that they own themselves!! Nathan got about 10 inches of air and eluded to getting lectured when the video was seen.

Love how Lambourghini is like "All the things, people want the Urus to do, you can't show them. Despite us advertising that it can do those things." So are they worried it'll break in 5 minutes, or would they prefer people buy them and never drive them?

Lambo reliability was NEVER a thing
Well first of all its a 200 grand car. Any sane dealership won't like to have their 200 grand car to have any problems. Second, lambo is not reliable? Go watch Daily driven exotic, they have said so many times how tank the huracan was. They modified the heck out of it and crashed it but it still won't break.
I love this Father & son duo.
One thing I will say about these performance suvs is that I love the feeling when you use launch control. Everytime I drive my mother's Alfa Stelvio I would occasionally get sick uncontrollably laugh from using Launch Control.

I own one of these & maybe since I’m in the Midwest, it’s quicker, like you said, but I’ve consistently gotten 3.1-3.3 0-60 best was 2.7 but ordered mine from Italy for a grand total of $247,600.00

Youmade a good point, all reviewers complain about using some bits across a VW group, but it is always somehow personalised to each car and common buyer won’t care. Great car , far better than Porche, which looks to me pretty outdated in body styling.

Urus is pretty cool for what it is. The gearing and AWD really help overcome the curb weight on launch, but after about 80 mph it doesn't feel nearly as fast. You've basically got the power to weight ratio of a Mustang GT. Won't pick up as much time as you think either going to sea level. The engine management system tries to hit a specific output level regardless of conditions and the turbos allow it to maintain full power up to a decent elevation. Good news is they pick up a ton of torque and decent amount of hp just with a reflash - if you wanna do that to your 1/4 million dollar new Lambo.

That front end reminds me of the “Black Widow” body kits from the early 2000s.
Biggest problem with the Urus - other than asinine press-car rules - is the 5-year gap between show car and production during which others, particularly Toyota, helped themselves liberally to its' design cues. The result is that this looks to have some Audi, a touch of jet fighter, and a *whole lot* of RAV4.

It's a beautiful machine. Lot of people give Lambo shit for making an SUV but at least it's legit and looks sexy.
However, how the hell does it weigh more than a 4WD V8 F-150? My 2WD V8 truck is 4,590, and 4WD adds ~250# to that...

Carwow has proved that this is slower than BMW X6M. I'd still take a Lambo Urus over any other SUV though. 😎😎😎👍
A stock Urus is quicker than the BMW. The Urus that carwow used had aftermarket wheels of 24 inches which hampers acceleration. That race wasn't representative of how quick the two cars are. The Urus does not come with 24 inche wheels as standard.
Does it hit 60 before with window rolls up?
Why should a Turbocharged car at a mile above sea level be slower than at sea level? If you are compressing the air into the engine I would think that the only time there would be much difference would be as the Turbos are spooling up to the waste gate limit. It possibly would be faster as the thinner air exerts less aerodynamic force on the vehicle.
Actually I understand that the air is less dense so the Turbos have to spool up to higher RPMs to reach the wastegate pressure at altitude than at sea level but this couldn't be more than a very small portion of a second which could be made up due to lower air resistance. Am I wrong? Most probably.

It looks like an Acura, is based on a VW, it's painted with glossy version of primer and can be beaten by a Tesla that's far more interesting and costs a small fraction of it's price. It makes zero sense to me, which means it will probably make a mint.

No, not really. 2 year old used Urus are still around $230k, even with close to 20,000 miles on them. They are in high demand and the market price reflects that.
The Urus is one of the least depreciated cars on the market. For some reason demand is outstripping supply.

That wasn't a stock Urus. A stock Urus easily beats the BMW. The owner fitted aftermarket 24 inche wheels to the car and that slows the launch.
I thought the price of a new F150 was preposterous.
