      @pcthayer 2 месяца назад

      @@michaelbates8660 I don't mind them re-skinning a vehicle, if it lasts. By re-using the drivetrain, that may allow them to have the cheap price to compete with the Kia Seltos and the Subaru CrossTrek, etc. (I would take the Subaru for longevity but for looks the Kicks gets my vote.) Just because it's cheap it doesn't make it good though, since Mitsubishi has made some cheap cars (Mirage) that are undrivable due to the lack of power.

      It was until this year. The Kicks went way up in price and new contenders to the market do value much better (see Buick Envista, new Chevrolet Trax). For this money, you can get a much more reliable and efficient Corolla Cross.

    I love the new front and rear. Very sharp and distinctive. Great job designers. Saying a car looks like a shoe is usually an insult. No spare tire standard is a miss. This recent trend of manufacturers putting OEM-specific infotainment systems (goodbye, affordable double-DIN) and integrated digital gauge clusters into entry-level cars will cost owners a fortune to replace should they fail outside the warranty. As a result, unfortunately, this may prove to not be an affordable car long-term. Let's not even go into Nissan's history with JATCO transmissions. Been there. Done that. Learned my lesson.

    As much as I like Nathan, he just isn't being effective for TFL now. He's just doing reviews and test drives.

      This car woulda been better to have Chase review. This guy is old and I don't like his choppy style. Maybe Filipo over at cars and bids will review.
