Idc what anyone says, these are the kinds of stories that make sports legendary.
Stories like this are why I love sports. I love seeing people dedicate themselves to being the best at their sport and overcome nearly unimaginable adversity to get there. Stories like this one are why I will continue to watch and participate in sports for my entire life.
Yeah 99% dont get this place even if they have similar situations.
@@tobiasfunke8967 Yeah that's true but that's sports only the best make it to the top. For me that's also part of the beauty of sports. There are honestly not a ton of things in life that are a pure meritocracy but sport is. Whoever is the fastest runner, strongest lifter, farthest thrower, etc. is the winner it's pure and simple. Where you come from, who your family is, or how much money you have are completely irrelevant because all that matters is your results and there's no shortcut to winning just a ton of practice and hard work over time.
I like beans.
@@tobiasfunke8967 That's irrelevant, sports at any level, from a local club of strangers or friends to the minor leagues. Sports is and can be the pinnacle of one achieving thier own greatness in life. Speaking from experience as a person who participates in indoor soccer and struggling on the field yet becoming a local team hero finding out I was better as a goal keeper.

Every Olympic medal be it gold or bronze has a story. Every such story is unique, relatable and includes determination, hard work, sacrifice, and discipline. Kudos to all of them
There's something incredibly satisfying seeing someone fulfill a promise to an angel of heaven. The feeling of accomplishment must be overwhelming.
I saw this when he won and I cryed like a child.
Thats beauty of love and duality of life, love can make you reach mountaintops but also destroy you. Same with losing love but its up to you what you will do with those emotions, let them consume you or forge them in something great.
