I've been enjoying your videos. I can't believe you don't have more subscribers! As I watched your tea room tour, I have two suggestions. First, on the corner hutch/shelf unit... it might look better to have a bushy plant on the top shelf such as a fern (or artificial fern). It needs to look more filled in and I think the addition of a plant would help to bring nature inside. Next, I love that your hubby insisted on adding the window trim for you. His wink was cute because he knew you were going to discover it later. Love it. What about if you added a simple shelf to extend the window sills a bit? Just a couple brackets and scrap wood made to fit would do it. Then you could display a few more tea pots on the window sill to bring the room together even more. IDK. Just a thought. Can't wait for your next video.
Hi Scott, I apologize for the late reply. I had replied earlier, but for some reason it did not publish. Thank you for your kindness and encouragement. I love your ideas. I definitely plan on bringing more plants into this pace. It is feeling a bit empty right now, but I am just getting started. I like your windowsill idea, but unfortunately I'm just a tenant so we repaired it to how it should be for the house owner. I would like to put in a couple shelves though. I enjoy the tea pot display idea. I'm thinking some kind of little shelf that can display a couple, maybe even something with some tea cup hooks. Our budget is tiny, especially after tax season, but I am having a fun time thrifting items and shopping for this space when I can. Hopefully it will be all finished by summertime. Thank you for being here.
That rug is GORGEOUS! 😍
Thank you. It's perfect for this room. I'm so happy I went for a bigger rug to fill the space.
