Good to see you getting some well deserved recognition by the devs/publisher, you've certainly put out great content over the years which promoted their game immensely. I remember back in the early days when you were making rookie mistakes in Mordheim.
There are ALOT of similarities with mordheim especially with the stats and ui, i just hope they cleaned up most of the jank in actual gameplay. mordheim is great but all the little things add up to make it hard to play, like the very touchy interact range (wyrdstone wiggle) and the forced animations on evey little action that lock you out from doing anything while they play out.
Mordheim is the reason I'm not buying this game. Mordheim is one of the most broken unbalanced games I've ever played. I'm sick of playing games that ruin my perception of a franchise
RC-1138 here’s a thought don’t attack the zombies disengage go in packs and go after the undead leader at lvl 1 all u have to do is kill the vampire and the dreg and you’ll win due to army loss or you can just use range weapons and move back since skaven can move much more than the zombies and just wait for the vampire to over extended and then flank him kill him fast and then do that to the rest of the heroes the vampires are the skaven weakness but you can definitely win
@@peternystrom921 it's got some pretty serious flaws. We all forgave them to play the core game but it had some pretty intense UI issues, mostly on the battle map. You can adjust to them. @@GamekNightPlays but they released enough dlcs b4 they abandoned it without fixing simple things like selecting spawn points with mouse... im in love with the universe but too frustrated about the devs and publisher at this moment to wait like 1 year at least b4 buying this 1...
The customization of the units does seem pretty good, but I am still miffed about the active slots during missions being only 5, as well as the low number of gangs on release. One thing in relation to Mordheim that I kind of miss in this and don't know how to feel about is the lack of psychers. Would have been quite interesting to have a psycher character type available, which has the potential of summoning s daemon if you fail an ability check. Speaking of, something that you did not mention in the previous video, will there be neutral enemies, ala the daemons or the Chaos Ogre, in the missions, or is it exclusively just the two gang teams?
Psychers would have been awesome - but as far as I know they are fairly rare in the Underhive as the human ones are taken into service? But yes, could have been great. Maybe as an unlockable character when a gang reaches a certain point... I have not yet seen any neutral enemies, only mines :P
I’m not sure if you’ll be able to answer, but you’ve been pretty helpful in the comments so far. How feasible and/or possible do you think it will be to run a multiplayer campaign as the game is now via skirmish? There will obviously have to be some trust, rules, and some book keeping by the commissioner, but do you think running some kind of online campaign is possible?
Yes - I think that would be possible. It would have to, like in Mordheim, be with some set rules - I would also suggest having a rule like; no looting of tier I weapons... As that could end up ruining the fun. Many more things needs to be considered, but it is indeed possible. Trust would be needed vi time. :) I try to be helpful whenever I can - thanks for noticing :)
Amazing tutorial, quick, precise and to the point well deserved like and sub. The thing i get confused with is what some of the buffs and debuffs symbols mean like the causing mechanical summin or other and the different types of attack icons.
See I didn't know that eschers are melee specialists I thought goliaths were, Instead goliaths are survival with heavy weapons and melee, orlocks are ranged specialists and eschers are trappers and melee, this I did not know at all, you telling me this also showed me what other info didn't tell me, wether I should just have a starter gang or custom make one, and you said that starter you get random and can't choose for them, while custom let's you pick jobs for each member you get, and can make more choices Alas you also said that you should have the leader be more focused on the strengths of each house My choice is going to be escher house so I need my leader to be either a great traps expert or melee expert, where as tessera from the campaign was a ranged fighter, confusing me a bit, but I think she was also focused on traps as a ranged fighter idk for sure, as most campaign ai was able to avoid my traps as I didn't plan for them to jump up and down everywhere like a free child at a amusement park... This means I'll need to make my escher leader focused on melee or traps as escher is melee and poison trap experts, when tessera was a ranged fighter.... Does this mean that my escher leader can be a ranged fighter, maybe if I allowed her (escher being matriarch gang) to focus on traps to slow down enemies trying to reach her, or melee where escher would poison their melee weapons... I'm glad someone actually took the time to give me this info as well as share it to others, but this also swims my head with trying to figure out why the campaign was different, tessera should had been a trapper focus or melee focus and she was range specialist I think.... Anyways my question is, as a soon to be house eschers, should I just get a starter gang and deal with the members I get, or custom gang so I can free build them my way? Now that you answered what is the difference between starter and custom, which choice would be best for a brand new warhammer player, and brand new necromunda: hive war gang player? And why would you think your answer may be best for me to choose? To sum it all up, starter or custom, which is best for me? And why? Thank you if you read this, and take the time to answer, this video alone earned you a follower and a like, I just have a question that I can't answer alone
Hey Starlight! Thank you so much for the nice comment and sorry for the long time to answer - but here goes; Should I just get a starter gang and deal with the members I get, or custom gang so I can free build them my way? If you already played the campaign, I would say go custom, as you have a very good idea of skills and gang strengths already. The difference is that the first three gangers you get, including your leader, are randomly chosen, with no regards to gang strengths at all if you chose starter. Custom allows for much better control. And why would you think your answer may be best for me to choose?
