As a librarian, myself, I've worked in public libraries and also private libraries. Some book collections were larger than others, and others with more content than others. It wasn't until my time in the outskirts of a village where I was asked to catalogue a library collection for a gentleman where I realized how peculiar one book collection could be. The gentleman was tall and thin with sharp features and night black hair, and dressed formally yet approachable at the same time. Everyday when I entered his residents, I was always asked to enter on the side entrance where the private library was housed. I never had the opportunity to see the full residence, although from the outside it was mostly stone with tapestries and occasional candles lighting the areas and corners. The library itself was vast with an assortment of books. Just from looking at them, I could tell many were at least a few hundred years old, with others being brand new. The book collection was sprawled out on tables, shelves, and on the floor, and I knew that the collection needed to badly be reshelved and catalogued.
I began my work by purchasing the necessary cataloging supplies and seriously began the process the following week. I mentioned earlier that the collection was peculiar, but nothing more than that. During my time cataloging, it was mostly books on history, geography, politics, political economy, botany, geology, English law, English life and customs, and a few almanacs. Oddly enough, I always felt that the book collection had a specific purpose for the gentleman. At times, I would catch myself sleeping at the desk in the library and when I awoke, the gentleman was always there to greet me from my brief and embarrassing slumber. He joked that the companions, the books, are good friends who tend to lead us into the night...

Hello again my friend. Each and every one of your releases are awesome. I admire what you have accomplished. I started composing when I was around 15 years old in 1981. I never could get my act together financially to get a studio together or learn how to use the recording equipment however. I write mostly music like 'Faithfully' by Journey and 'Hello Again' by Neil Diamond. Primarily on the pop/Rock side, but branch out a little bit, lol. I'm hoping to get back into it. One of my favorite pieces that inspired me when I first started writing I will leave with you. You might have seen the movie and heard it before. It's very different than what you compose, but with the artist you are I'm positive you will like it. Talk with you soon. Elliott

Jonathan Harker: .."in the library i found to my great delight a vast number of english books whole shelves full of them and bound volumes of magazines and news papers. A table in the centre was littered with English magazines and newspapers though none of themeere of very recent date. The books were of the most varied kind-history geography politics political economy botany geology and law- all relating to England and English life and customsand manners.
There were even such booksof reference as the London directory the red and blue books. Whilst i was looking at the booksthe door opened and the count entered.he saluted me in a hearty way and hoped that i had a good nights rest. Then he went on -- " im glad you foundyour way inhere for i sm sure there is much that will interest you. These friends -- and he laid his hands on some of the books--" have been food friends to me and for years past ever scince i had the idea of going to London have giving many many hours of pleasure...
