I read that scrips are used by companies to pay their workers during times where regular money is unavailable. Are they still in existence?
I bet in some other countries that scrip is still used. I remember a few years ago that Wal-Mart in Mexico was made to stop paying workers partly in vouchers that could only be used at Wal-Mart.
Where did you learn about this?
