    Hi Nigel. Adding the oil inspection hole in the top plate was inspired. 👏👏
    Such a fabulous build. I for one am not looking forward to this brilliant build ending. Unless you have something else as wonderful to follow. 🙏🤔

      Thanks, this build has thrown up quite a few suprises, it's been very interesting to just build without a pre determined design and see where it takes you.

    Nigel, you wanted that viewing port from the start. Great work.

      LOL. Yeah I'm pretty sure I'd have come around to adding the top viewing port anyway.

    Great Job now when are you going to build the crane to move it around the shop. All jokes aside looking great and nice save with the inspection hole.

    The moment you showed that hole in the top plate I was thinking perfect spot for a flow sight glass and as if by magic you made it .... could l suggest rounding the base corners to match the rest of the body and top .

      Thanks, the flow sight gauge ia a nice touch I think. Good idea rounding the corners of the base, cheers.

    Very nice example of iterative design and engineering. Enjoying the build. Any thoughts on using felt in the oil ways to keep the oil from just running out of the reservoir?

      Thanks for your comment, very much appreciated. Interesting idea using felt in the oil ways, I'll give that some consideration.

    This really is an incredible build. Are you working from plans you drew or are you just winging it? Either way it is definitely an inspiring build. Do you plan to release/sell plans for this? Thank you for your continually raising the bar of quality.

    • @GoCreatehms
      @GoCreatehms  6 месяцев назад

      Thanks for your kind comment it's much appreciated. No plans, I'm just winging it. I usually draw up plans first but I decided on this build to be adventureous and see how it goes. I was thinking of drawing up plans or sketches of the finished machine but alot of work so probably not.
      Cheers
