I know these are old videos but I just found them. I am so happy, doing the happy dance. I have cut the fabrics and now I'm starting to put them together. Already had to tear out a couple but I am not giving up. Thank you for explaining it such detail I really need that.
Hi Barbara. So glad the quilt block tutorials are helpful. When you get that quilt done here is a "quilt as you go" series you might like: ruclips.net/video/XSM5BPIlb0o/видео.html Make sure you watch my sewing tips of the week. There are a lot of helpful sewing tips you might find helpful. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Thank you for explaining the basics. I'm a math whiz but I couldn't understand how to put the block under the square rulers and what to cut off. I've watched dozens of these quilting vids but hadn't figured that out. My head kept saying well how do you know which sides to cut off? And how do you get it square if you cut off different sides?. Thank you so much. You are a very competent teacher and certainly do understand what "beginner" means.🙋
I only have four blocks finished and the fifth cut. I have learned a lot so far, for which I thank you very much! Very much looking forward to this block, it's a fun looking block.
I'm up to seven blocks so far. Just missing the 12 1/2 inch square ruler, but it's finished. It's on my list of things to add shopping trip excuse :p I'm learning so much off of these videos. Thank you :)
Thank you Cheryll, I watch your videos from Italy, and I like them all. Could you please make a video about how to stich across baby blanket, using a normal sewing machine. Thank you in advance.
Hi Live.Love.BeHappy. You can use any standard sewing machine. You will get better results if you use a "walking presser foot." If you use a standard presser foot, you might create little tucks in the fabric as you stitch. Check with your local sewing machine store to see if they can help you locate a walking foot that fits your sewing machine. Not all walking feet fit every brand of sewing machine. I recommend that you watch one of my other video's called "Easy Baby Quilt." Happy sewing.

Hi Janet. I am so happy you are making this quilt. Let me know how it turns out. Happy sewing.
I love your calm voice and easy instructions. May I ask, what thread would you recommend for making the blocks? Thank you.
