I know its super tempting to buy this stuff from SHEIN since everything’s so cheap but unfortunately websites like this are notorious for stealing artwork and designs... I would LOVE to see a home decor haul from Etsy! There’s so much cool stuff on there and a lot of it directly comes from the artist themselves, and a lot of the stuff you can get from SHEIN is stolen designs from etsy shops.
Exactly what I was thinking, there’s no way SHEIN have a studio that designed those prints & I doubt they even have a license to sell the Matisse one 🙈
YES an etsy homeware haul! I’ve gotten so into Etsy during lockdown and i always look there for something i need to purchase before i look anywhere else now, means a lot to the seller and you get some good quality bits that no one else you know has!

Unfortunately a lot of shady drop shippers have infiltrated Etsy too. I recently spent a decent amount on what I thought was a handmade necklace (that’s what was advertised) only to see the same thing plastered all over Amazon a couple weeks later for 1/4 of the price. You have to really make sure the items are actually made by small independent artists lately ☹️
Edit: I recently saw that same moon hanging on Etsy too. I wish Etsy would work harder to keep the platform for small businesses and independent artists

They are have some old books I red and they have amazing colored outsides so I use them as dekor now love it😍
A lot of people buy the Tom Ford , Dior and Chanel ones to style their coffee tables. I quite like the idea of these shein ones since they're cheap and would look cute of a shelf, plus you don't have to spend close £100 for books. I also saw a haul where someone got books from an Etsy seller which just have the designer cover with blank pages inside so they're super cheap.

!the Pom Pom bedding is really nice. But on the pillows depending on how you sleep will hurt your back because the poms are all around! Just a warning :)

She shut it down. She talked about it on a video a while back, can't remember which vid tho, but basically expenses were too high and they couldn't maintain it for the time being.

Everyone talking about the decorative books.... well glad she bought them so we could see there are just cardboard so thats pretty usefull for people thinking on buying them.... some people just want aesthetic in a place and some books are not aesthetically pleasant ( I love to read, but we need to see the other side of the coin )

Usually decorative books are hollow and good for storage, plus people don’t have to go through the effort of finding beautiful book covers to match their aesthetic. This is coming from someone who had a huge book collection

the silicone dish cleaner doesn't actually work, because it isn't stiff enough, so it just bends as you try and put pressure on it

I agree with others who say that shein steals artworks from artists then use it as their "design". Afair, they also used swastika as an "aesthetic" on their product which is very rude and insensitive.
I can relate to loving green but cannot grow a plant, that so me, hehe, also I had this cactus that my cat ate... So I am thinking of getting faux plant myself

I made my first order with Shein and most things were great but I was sent a completely different wall sticker to the one I ordered and there's no way to contact them for a refund, I would literally have to wrap it up and take it to the post office. And not only that but they only allow one return per order so if you want to order a lot I would split it to kind of reduce the risk of getting wrong/broken items.

I’ve purchase a few shirts and one pair of shoes from SHEIN and the material felt pretty good 👍🏽
I find it's important to check the fabric when buying on there. I first got t-shirts and was disappointed they were polyester. So now I make sure to check. You can even search "cotton" if you only want to shown cotton items.
