Nice review, but would have been nice to see a pour from height. The best test of the quality of a pour over kettle is how long the pour stream stays laminar before breaking up into drops. Some Chinese and Japanese tea kettles will pour a steady stream from crazy heights!
The exact same Chinese made coffee kettle is sold under other brand names. I got mine from Walmart for $24.99 (branded Yakalla) while Amazon sells the BW version (just the kettle, without the mesh filter) for $39.95. I think a lot of these brands are just marketing companies who put their brand name on generic products from Chinese manufacturers.
So it's very simple...the big companies will make a great product then the Chinese facilities will "loose" the blueprints then other Chinese companies will start selling them. That is how you get 10 unknown companies selling the same product.
@@AtHomewithLucas Lucas, I don't think anyone is stealing the blueprints and copying them and manufacturing something. I think all these different brands are made in the same factory by the same people, with minor details changed (like branding) for their customers who market them. My kettle is EXACTLY like the one in your video, with two exceptions. The branding on the bottom plate is different, and the thermometer face is slightly different. Other than that, it is identical. Even the packaging is exactly the same, with different printing on it.
@@AtHomewithLucas Do some research? Is that the best you can do? Why don't I just send you photos of the kettle and the packaging, and you can see for yourself? It is a common practice for Chinese factories to produce something then sell it to multiple marketers who market it under different brand names and at different prices. They might change the name, but very little else. If you think this is impossible, then you just don't know very much about the topic. At least make an effort to be knowledgeable before pretending you are an expert at something.

Let me see if I can test that...might make a short video 👍😀

Hello , When you can publish the video about the Bike Phone Mount?
Finished
This is a blatant Hario rip off. You shouldn’t be encouraging this.
