I had one back in the mid 1970's. It was inexpensive compared to the auto-diaphragm lenses of the day. There is a pre-set ring, you set the shooting aperture and then you can open and close the aperture to focus. The image quality was great, but the front barrel did have some play in it.

Are you enjoying the k3 iii monochrome more then the regular k3 iii?

actually yes kind of weird but being strictly monochrome brings out a challenge
