I've seen that phenomenon with some amps as well. It is not the Dyno, I test full range amps all the time and have only seen this happen a couple of times. I'm sure this has been asked before, but why full range on a 6kW amp?
I feel like it has something to do with the distortion light being on the whole test, maybe it's not reading it but still going up, untill it reaches a point where there's low enough distortion, idk how it usually works, I've seen plenty of amp dyno tests with that thing and don't remember seeing it's distortion light till the very end
Hey man I think you're having that problem where it shows you that the dyno is not climbing steadily because you're setting at a thousand Hertz try a different Hertz setting and it should perform correctly
It will handle 15.9 and run at .5 also. I run mins and 15.8 -16 at .5 idk how much power im.m getting on vocals but i just blew them a day before a show. I may need THE EXL LINE OF VOCALS NEXT
Total agree about the brazilian amp I'd never trust those amps. Thank you for showing DS18 products. I bought the eq and and the crossover from them. The crossover is the best I ever used. Retire the AudioControl 6XS for the DS18 XM6LD. The EQ was good but didnt stand out like the crossover.
Funny enough the BRAZILIANS are making the best value amps now days, whole americas are using them, all over youtube too... Brazilians, we all know what is the deal out there... Taramps all the way!!
it will easily do what it says its just he is using 12volts so the test will represent the car being off if he was to use 14volts it would get what it says + some
You're Dyno counted up smoothly on several tests I know you didn't want to so I would go so far as to say something's up with your Dyno or something's up with the amplifier your testing!!!
Think you can get your hands on the taramps new US version and dyno it? Like a bass 12k or hd 15k. It should be far ahead of others in terms of technological advances for subwoofer duty.
hello was trying to find any dyno's on the ppi black ice 7k or even the 5k wondering if they do rated? also have you tested any Taramps? may i ask why Korean over Brazilian ?
team it hertz $400 plus shipping. Both need repaired. One is almost finished. It needed a couple fets. I had most of them replaced but it never finished

me too, they are .5 ohm stable. I just wonder if they do rated.

You may even want to have your Dyno checked out there may be something going on with your Dyno because it should move up smoothly on 1 kilohertz test

That amp does rated power @ 1 ohm (14.4V) Saw one do 3.9k at 1.6 ohm after rise & drop to 12.6V
Why do 1000 hz on a D class mono block amp ? Why not 40 or 50 hz?
