Booked my honeymoon for this ship in 2026 already knowing about the mechanical issues. I'm hoping the recent drydock has solved those propulsion issues for the foreseeable future.
Congratulations on your wedding! From what we have seen posted on Facebook groups by current Vista cruisers, it sounds like the issue has been fixed, or at least for moment it's fixed. Enjoy your cruise next year!
The Vista is a beautiful ship, but it seems to suffer from so many mechanical problems and issues with the engines. I wouldn’t sail on it for anything.
You are right. We were very lucky the cruise we were on was not impacted. I'd be hesitant to sail on her again unless I was sure she was fixed. Thanks for watching and posting!
