    I'm glad Mark has a good attitude, there is alot of land there for the improvements he wishes to make, hopefully you can make a follow up video and show what his ideas are going to look like.
    Good deal or not, the first rule that I keep hearing from others is "Don't let family build your house". Electrical is the first thing to repair, it can kill someone in a second at 63 amps, the circuit breaker won't trip until after you are dead if it gets ahold of you in the shower. Need to make darn sure that there is a deep ground rod that is functional on all circuits, I'm thinking there isn't. I am writing this in hope that Texas Mark reads this and makes it priority, safety first.

      63A, likely the wiring will melt or burn if it's an overload situation. Finding that and/or correcting it will be a PITA.

      Thanks for the comment, after reading your comment, I went back to the breaker box and took another look. Turns out the number we were reading is the series number of the Chint breakers. The amperage is written below in smaller letters. Ignorance on my part.

      @@terrellfiveo Thats awesome, makes me feel better.
      Look for a ground rod buried a few meters down, very important for it to be installed.
      We both like the water tower and screens, we will implement those in our house build hopefully late next year. Appreciate the replies.

    Nice to meet you Mark ! And just FYI my wife still has the plastic on the gage glass of the dashboard in her 2014 car….and a few other things. I think it has to do good luck blessings for the future or along those lines. It’s a “buddist” thing ….oh….you said you were going to buy a dryer to go with the washing machine…a clothes wrack was my wife choice, as Thailand is made for drying clothes….big savings on the electric bill and the clothes smell fresh and clean….and it gives me something to do in my “elder” years. Ahh..as always, it’s up to you. Your home looks nice from all angles…..welcome to Thailand..:-))

      Thank you. I want a dryer because I don’t like it when my shirts get stretched out from hang drying them. Individual preference I guess. When it comes to the plastic wrap, I don’t know if she’ll ever take it off. It’s a small compromise that I’m willing to make.

    Hi Kenny...and Mark (Thank you for your service). That is the exactly same accordion screen "door" I have. Not sure if that would work on your back door. Love Grandma 555...

    • @ParadiseNThailand
      @ParadiseNThailand  4 дня назад

      I love those screens, but I looked at my door framing and the wall is not thick enough to accommodate the knob and the screen. I would need to add something to surface mount it out from the door "trim".

    63A breakers on all circuits! There is a problem waiting to happen.

    • @ParadiseNThailand
      @ParadiseNThailand  4 дня назад

      Yes, as I said, "They will not trip". = BURNT wiring. The problem now is, we do not know what is wired to which breaker. It would take a one-at-a-time circuit test to figure it out.

    Nice house, well done Texas Mark. I like the outside kitchen / living spaces. At 92sqm do you think my design at 220sqm is a bit of over kill 🤣. Builder is reworking my design as we speak. The one thing I didn't want to happen was family/village/locals building the house because there will always be short cuts and dodgy work done.

    • @ParadiseNThailand
