They ended the chase due to the high risk involved, but managed to find the driver through the rental company. They got a warrant to arrest him at home. Fun detail in the arrest is the subject telling the police guy “vriend, ik was dat niet” (something like homie, that wasn’t me) to which the cop replies I’m not your homie and I don’t care, you are still being arrested for this. Something else people don't give enough credit for, is all the other drivers on the road, everyones response time to a high speed chase on tight roads is so good! You'll never see defensive driving like that in the US.
I am guessing it has to do with how hard it is to get a license here. Not to mention the costs. Parents teaching you how to drive is not a valid way of obtaining your license. Haha this is one of the best chases indeed. I'm from The Netherlands and I drive often on the road in this video. It's near the city Breda in the province Noord-Brabant. The mercedes was a rental so it was not registered on the driver's name in the police database.
These cops be driving a Audi A6 avant 3.0 TDI .. they get special training to train them for high speed chases. they were following a Mercedes-Benz E300 which was a rental from germany.
No we "only" transported slaves which were caputured and sold by africans themself by hunting and killing other tribes, we Dutch know our history and documentated it but Africa the real manhunters never took any responsibility except blaming others.
It was a German rental. Usually rented by Turks or Moroccans. The owner of the rental company has to provide details of the renter otherwise he is liable. Dispatch chose to abort the pursuit because of the risks. They got a warrant from the DA to arrest him. They recognized him inside the house. Driving with a suspended license is a 750 fine, and 2 weeks suspended jail. So next time the fine will be even higher, around 1500 and at least 2 weeks jail time. And because of the facts, his car will probably be impounded as well. The DA can take the car away from him and sell it.
This is like a specialized unit from the dutch police who drive audi a6 for like a high speed chase and they have a whole school course on how to drive so good and fast the rest of the police drives mercedes a200 or something
its extra impressive it being in netherlands, it has highest population density of any country in EU apart from some mini state/ countries not really countries lol
Pursuit was cancelled because the risk got too high. Police here don't usually do pit manoeuvres but prefer to box cars in, but will if they have to. Also, their Audis are specifically designed for these chases and are called SIVs, special intervention vehicles. They are very difficult to outrun ;) they usually take point in chases and regular police cars assist. Also, they didn't screw up with the suspect entering the motorway; they steered right in an attempt to force the driver back onto the motorway, as to remove the danger from densely populated areas.
5:28 - I had a A220 CDI (2.1 Diesel) 2015 model and with a remap to 205bhp it could do 150! This was 150 indicated on the dash, plus it did take a while to get there needed full throttle and wasn't always possible depending on conditions. But people used to think that was absolute madness that a 2.1 diesel can touch about 150mph😂
I am not joking when I tell you that this clip starts right where I get on the highway on my way home from work, this stretch of road is right from the port city of Rotterdam down south towards the border with Belgium. You see high-speed police chases there almost every single day, sometimes its marked police cars but most frequently they are unmarked special units that drive even more aggressively tuned BMW's/Audi's/Mercs but they are way heavier as they are armored.
What is the usual prison/jail sentence for something like this in Netherlands? What model Audi is the police driving? Why chase if they just ended up arresting the driver at his house?
@@gabeishere4990You get no jail, probs a big fine. They drive a 3L V6 Diesel with 341hp and 700nm And they stopped the chase because it was to dangerous, but they got his name thats why the go to his house
pretty sure the AMG driver was carrying something hot, he evaded police and dumped/stashed the hot cargo somewhere. Went home and waited for the cops to arrest him. Now he "only" facing minor charges like evading police, resisting arrest etc. compared to what he could have been charged if they caught him.
What you need to keep in mind in this video is that his is an actual E63S V8 Gasoline 612 HP 4WD(rental car from Germany, a lot of drug people rent these kind of cars to flash with them and also try to outpace cops) This cop car is an Audi A6 Diesel with 230HP Qauttro, this is an SIV (as we call it in the netherlands) Translated to Highway speed intervation vehicle. These kind of drivers has more driving experiences at high speeds than a normall cop. Normally they pair up in teams of 2 or even 3. They box people in. Due to the fact The Netherlands is really dense with people we will not pit manouvre if we think it is not safe or it will hit other cars, we do not have any bullbars as wel just a normal A6. These cars will get abused, Shock brakers will be replaced after 8000KM, Tires and brakes after 5000KM, clutch at 20000km. Just to give you some prospective.
The 'you didn't know he was pulling a left' moment around the 14:20 mark was probably actually intentionally by the cop to force the driver back onto the highway where the risk for the general public is way lower. Pitting a suspect is allowed under very strict circumstances, and if done incorrectly a police officer might face charges himself so it's rare to see happen. Here, boxing in or waiting for a crucial mistake (as long as the safety of the public allows for it) is what the police does. If you want a hookup of even crazier Dutch chases reach out, I can share some wilder dutch content here on YT as well ;)

These chases are lucky not that often in the Netherlands. And yes they got Audi A6’s (3.0TDI). Funfact: they call of the persuit if it gets too dangerous unlike in the states
Fyi the Audi’s you see here are called “SIVS” Snelle Interventie Voertuigen or in English Rapid Response Vehicles. They are equipped with a 3.0 TDI V6 and Quattro, producing about 286 hp and 620 nm of torque. The Mercedes in question has a lot more hp, therefore very difficult for the Dutch police to keep up. As well the police had to call it off as it became to dangerous to continue the chase they later arrested him, this doesn’t just happen they need permission first form higher up.
@@abdullahz4804 What is 630nm torque on 1900-2000Kg vs 620nm torque on 2100Kg? This chase bro. This chase.. Realy go learn something. Get educated. Horsepower is overrated. All that matters is the torque on the wheels. And how much weight those wheels need to push or pull.
@Syphirioth Pretty funny you telling a car mechanic to get educated lol thats cute. That Audi A6 is slow af tho no wonder i see mom's drive them to work
19:02 if you get pulled over with an invalid or suspended license, they can just take the car you're driving. The suspect was driving a rental car, so they probably found him by just getting the information from the rental company. Had the cops taken the car, you can bet the rental company is going to come after that guy for their money. And granted, prejudice based on how the suspect spoke, even if an uncle, nephew, brother or father rented the car for him, that just ups the ante for them. Because they don't want to be put in a position where they owe their relatives 100k over a seized rental car. Another option is that this suspect is involved in drug trafficking, in which case the car may have been supplied to him by the people he works for. Frankly those are not the kind of people who take kindly to their drugs going missing on your watch or them getting in trouble for a car that's been seized because of you.
The reason the chase stopped is because the police said the chase was too dangerous because it was heading towards a city where it was very busy with people and cyclists and cars
Pit maneuvers arent really allowed over here. Only when the driver poses a serious threat to the cops or the public are pit maneuvers used. For example when they start ramming the police or they start going into oncoming traffic.
If im not mistaken they use an audi a6 with a 3.0l TDI engine. about 286 HP. Only a special division of the police uses these (kinda like highway patrol or state police) and they are highly trained.
So these are not your average cops, although all cops get driver training in the Netherlands, these vehicles are called "SIVs" (Speedy Interventions Vehicles would be a rough translation), they are tuned A6 V6 TDI's with specially trained cops for highway pursuits. Hence the exquisite driving ánd the calm and collected passenger-cop. They are trained for and used to this shit :-). Strategy normally would indeed be to just sit behind the baddy untill a) he fcks up / ruins his car or b) they are able to get some cars in front and do a "box" manoeuvre. Occassionally pitting is done too, but it's deemed quite dangerous and would never be done at highway speeds. Dutch highways are too congested, there would be a high risk of collateral damage and loss of life. That's why "Boxing" (containing the suspect with 3 vehicles) is preferred.
Europe understanded that high speed chases don't need weawoos due those makes ppl do stupid shit more likely than just staying on their lane. Statistics told us that weawoos effected on most crashes more than anything else, so that's why most of our high speed chases are "silent" these days. Also benz has air struts while audi has steel springs, that's the diff. Police also gets suprisingly good teaching of driving skills at Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland. Police won't go for forced stop unless people in escaping car is actual threat to public other than driving too fast as it's way more dangerous to everyone and costs way more than just follow thru until suspect stops or end up without fuel xD
There's also the part where Police Vehicles are heavier and loaded up with gear that adds extra weight too, it makes it impressive that they were able to take those high speed bumps at speed
@spectrapulse2104 Actual stuff that you mentioned are way less heavier these days than even couple years ago specially on countries around Germany. Only thing that is still heavier is printer. Yeah still adds total weight but also those police cars have special springs and struts too and has been that way long time
He didn't get away. They let him go because his driving was getting too dangerous to his surroundings. So they just decided to arrest him at his home. Safer.
They only use the Audis for high speed chases. The dudes that drive these need a special training. And the bike was there because it can go a lot faster than the Audis. He didn’t got away, they let him go because the traffic got worse. The car was rented but they still got his name through the rental company. Hope this helps, greetings from The Netherlands! 🇳🇱

Dutch citizen here👋 In the netherlands they are not allowed to pit at high speeds and in residential roads becouse its too dangerous. Same reason why we dont use spike strips. Its dumb cuz noone cares about a fleeing driver but its more for the safety of others arround
12:20 if he would go right he would be in my village "Oudenbosch", litterly 2min. Away from my home hahhaa
10:42
Dawg they are fucking driving hard, what are they feeding them to be moving like this 😂
its weird that they waited so long for it to get dangerous, plenty of quiet roads where they could have stopped him before going to a denser area
I know this guy, 100% e63 AMG
This video is officially Colonized by The Kingdom of The Netherlands, in other words, GEKOLONISEERD!!!
Y'all did the same to africa😂
@@thembo18musicnah, our focus was more on Indonesia, just some forts on the African coast and South Africa

The DA can take the car away from him and sell it.
now that is a driver right there, max verstappen would be shitting his pants in that car lol
Max would be the last person who shit his pants. Anyone who would sit in his F1 car tho, would shit their pants.
This is like a specialized unit from the dutch police who drive audi a6 for like a high speed chase and they have a whole school course on how to drive so good and fast the rest of the police drives mercedes a200 or something
If that was an American police car then that Mercedes would be gone. German cars have such good handling and speed
yea but they proll woulda pit him earlier
Its dutch we got good roads here
You know what is really cool about Dutch cop cars they are almost all diesel cars so for a diesel Audi a6 that thing is really moving
its extra impressive it being in netherlands, it has highest population density of any country in EU apart from some mini state/ countries not really countries lol

Trucks just have like 500-600 horsepower to on diesel. But they rip without load. Diesel is torque.
If any of ya have a question about this vd, ask me, I'm Dutch

What is the usual prison/jail sentence for something like this in Netherlands?
What model Audi is the police driving?
Why chase if they just ended up arresting the driver at his house?
@@gabeishere4990You get no jail, probs a big fine.
They drive a 3L V6 Diesel with 341hp and 700nm
And they stopped the chase because it was to dangerous, but they got his name thats why the go to his house

pretty sure the AMG driver was carrying something hot, he evaded police and dumped/stashed the hot cargo somewhere.
Went home and waited for the cops to arrest him.
Now he "only" facing minor charges like evading police, resisting arrest etc. compared to what he could have been charged if they caught him.
Dawgs Monetized Now👏
What you need to keep in mind in this video is that his is an actual E63S V8 Gasoline 612 HP 4WD(rental car from Germany, a lot of drug people rent these kind of cars to flash with them and also try to outpace cops) This cop car is an Audi A6 Diesel with 230HP Qauttro, this is an SIV (as we call it in the netherlands) Translated to Highway speed intervation vehicle.
If you want a hookup of even crazier Dutch chases reach out, I can share some wilder dutch content here on YT as well ;)
As you Americans would say: your reactions are funny af. Laughed hard fr, not gonna lie. Thank you for making my day.

These chases are lucky not that often in the Netherlands. And yes they got Audi A6’s (3.0TDI).
Funfact: they call of the persuit if it gets too dangerous unlike in the states

15:38 this IS an E63...But do not forget this is an Audi RS....The Audi is a way better car though. For these chases...The car(Merc) was a rental.
Any one from the netherlands watching this ??😂😂 uutje hieroo UUUU
Fyi the Audi’s you see here are called “SIVS” Snelle Interventie Voertuigen or in English Rapid Response Vehicles. They are equipped with a 3.0 TDI V6 and Quattro, producing about 286 hp and 620 nm of torque. The Mercedes in question has a lot more hp, therefore very difficult for the Dutch police to keep up. As well the police had to call it off as it became to dangerous to continue the chase they later arrested him, this doesn’t just happen they need permission first form higher up.
@@Vwowner_w8_1.9tdi_2.5tdi 286hp is nothing they were chasing a tuned E220. The A6 is a heavy boat

I drive on this road to work every day, lol.
Only a special division of the police uses these (kinda like highway patrol or state police) and they are highly trained.
not really the highly trained patrol highway ones are RS6 in the netherlands.. and there arent many.. these are regular patrol cars.
Cops got lines like 981 xD
It is an MB E63s. And that 'bumass' Audi is a tuned Audi A6. Its a special intervention vehicle (SIV) used by law enforcement in the Netherlands

i wish my r6 randoms gave comms like these officers
For the people wondering, it was a c63s amg which also was a rental. That's why the driver dont give af
Wrong not a C it’s an E lol
Yeah still adds total weight but also those police cars have special springs and struts too and has been that way long time
Dutch guy here, no need to blurr the plates. If the police leaves them clear than you can too.

He didn't get away. They let him go because his driving was getting too dangerous to his surroundings. So they just decided to arrest him at his home. Safer.
you gotta watch some of the brazil chases they actually fire and intense asf 😅, they normally use motorcycles tho
This is in the netherlands. It was a rental E63S german plates
They are also to stop other traffic at crossroads so they can go trough safely.
