Great Album, another great one from the Grunge mashup era is Mad Season. Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Screaming Trees members. Layne Stanley was on vocals. Great Album Above.
I’m 52,I was born in DC in 1971 & in 1992 I had just moved to LA & I bought this on cassette in like March & to this day it’s still in my top 10 albums of all time in any genre 🖤🤤”Call Me a Dog” is just 😳🤯🕺🏼
Dude!!! Don't get me started on my love for Mother Love Bone and how mesmerizing Andy was on stage!!!!! RIP, Andy (Andrew) Wood. My brother Danny played in a local Seattle band around the same practice and rehearsals spaces, same venues, etc. It was an incredible time to see up close via my brothers connection. Honestly, when Andy died, my brother Danny was asked to come jam and maybe he would be their next drummer. Meanwhile, my brother had died his hair fire engine red and was embarrassed. He didn't go jam. Ugh. I guess it worked out how it was supposed to. Never told that story publicly before.
Grunge is one of the most American genres next to the blues and R&B. The rock n roll from the 60s we know is really British inspired electric blues/ pop
This is my favorite record of all time! I live in BC Canada and was so lucky years ago i got to go south to the LA Forum and see them play there before Chris passed...THE BEST!
Hell yeah! Love this album! 🤘 uncle Joey I got an album for ya... Tales of Terror! Hope all is well man!!! Come to Sacramento if ya go bak on tour! I'm dying to meet ya one of these days!
Not that TOTD is super obscure, but it's a nice break from ACDC. Joey, what about Mark Lanegan? An all-time great from that scene. His work with the Screaming Trees, as a solo artist, and as a collaborator. He was the real deal.
joey music taste is tremendous.
Hahahahaa Say goodbye to heaven and reach out!! Only uncle Joey can crack me up like that!
