i have a hognose snake, they are very easy to take care of as long as you're ok with feeding it dead mice for 18 years. the one showed in this video appears to be a eastern hognose, witch live in more tropical climates then the western hognoses. being more grumpy and agressive then the westerns, they are less likely to be kept as pets, therefore they are more likely to play dead.
