I like how Udisc has their own system. Sometimes I play a new course and have no idea how good or bad I played lol

I just look at the leaderboard. I played a new course a couple weeks ago and thought I played it pretty well and was #2 in the 30 day so felt even better about it. I love the idea of their own rating system tho since I'm not a PDGA member.

You can edit old rounds to see what those ratings were. My absolute all timer as a 940 rated player was a 262, I felt so bad about that until I realized that udisc 200 is about 900 pdga, and 245 udisc is roughly 1000 pdga. Anything above 250 is absolute smoke 🤝

Yes dude, I agree. Just going thru uDisc and editing old rounds my really good rounds are like 230s, these rounds would win a lot in MA1 I think. My best round is 275 (-11) at Cedar Hill which the pros have played at before(Music City Open). Now the layout is different but not a crazy amount, I think the hottest round out there was -10 or -11. So yeah, 250 rated round is lights out and you're beating 95% of players.

It makes sense that you are playing so well, because you’re actually enjoying and having fun. You said you’re falling in love with disc golf again, while in your other videos you seemed kind of burnt out.
You have to enjoy the hustle and work you put in my man and it’s showing! Keep up the mindset. love ya bruh

Bro I'm the same way with fall and disc golf. They pair together so beautifully on both the senses and the spirit. And with that come bogey free 8 down rounds....

I was so excited when this was released. I went to my home course and played a UDisc 198. Not entirely sure how good or bad it is but I had fun and I love more metrics like this haha

It's kind of dumb but one of the big things I found out is it only works on courses that have smart layouts. I went to my home courses which don't and figured it out that way.

I used to aim for the roof of the bathroom on nine and play the skip back into the fairway. Lol. But there is a vent up there that captures discs sometimes.

Might have to start making that the game plan!

@@NateTurner But you have to beware of trapping a shot into the very common headwind out there and sending it toward the lake! You long throwers have more things that can go wrong.

I dont know if you read into it at all after this but your math at the end of the video would be off. As your score gets better, each stroke shaved off of your score is weighted more heavily. Meaning you would need less strokes gained than you initially thought to break like 260. Just some food for thought for you :)

Hole 7 has a weird vortex that doesn't allow Anhyzers to hold. Never understood it.

Shot a 172 first round trying it. It felt nice. No idea what it means. But. I like it.

Each stroke is worth close to an exponential amount not linear.

I dont have pdga rating, so I was interested what is going to be my first Udisc rating and it was 166, which was a surprise, I expected it to be something like 100. I then realized that I can probably throw way over 200 rated rounds if I am just able to stop missing my putts, my C1x putting is just awful.

Hole 4. Why not a pd? My nordic phenom was made for that shot. At 380' it's so straight with no turn and a late fade. God i love that disc.

I Blacked-out at a local course and shot -15 one stroke off the course record... UDisc says....drumroll.... 256.
    Silly ratings.

Disc golf is the Netherlands is too underrated as a sport and its tough to get a Udisc rating on a course.

Sometimes I want to know stuff, but I don't want to exert any effort in research so I remain ignorant, and I'm okay with that. Bodanza may be a ducker, but he's also a silly goose... see what I did there?!?! Pretty solid. I hope you get Mason or somebody to hang with you at Persimmon.
