Gabe, I showed my wife this channel after watching for several months and her response was "I can't believe you watch a channel like this" (out of character for me I suppose) I am a big dude, tattooed, biker type. But I was going through some hard times and wanted to save more money and just wasn't happy even though I had pretty much all the things most would want. So one weekend, inspired by you, I purged everything I own practically. Cleaned house figuratively and literally. Sold, donated, trashed anything that wasn't an absolute need. It was life-changing. Within months things became clearer. More money saved. I still get urges to buy random shit I don't need and I now stop myself and realize that this pattern was an unconscious one and I needed to stop. You have a gift of expressing a message in a calming, simple manner, and when watching it feels genuine and that you are simply talking to the viewer. I have taken several of your tips and applied them in my life and my wife has begun to do the same. My family is happier, I enjoy my day-to-day life more and it has caused me to value the little things that truly matter. So great job kid! You have done well and deserve the acknowledgment. keep going. You are helping and improving more lives than you realize.

If my husband didn’t literally drag me in my desk to him back in high school I’d definitely not be married. I wouldn’t talk to him, I’m just quiet and have nothing to say lol. It showed me that it's the little things each day that add up (a lot quicker than you realize). People are looking for a big splash that they miss the tiny pebbles that make it. @@GabeBult also meant to say that it’s good to have heard you say a couple of times that there was a time when your subscriber count would go down when you put out a new video, I literally just put a video out, it’s doing well but I also notice the subs go down to a new video 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ but then after a few days I start gaining on the video, I shouldn’t look at the stats right then but I can’t help it. Good to know you went through that stage and the pushed so far forward 😊 thanks

I'm an ambivert, and I've been on and off YT since the end of 2014, but I've finally discovered that I keep returning because I love creating YT content and the connections it's brought me, the friends I've made along the way. My videos are raw though because editing is totally tedious to me. I don't bother with thumbnails anymore either--tried it, too much effort. My issue is that I hate both ends of the camera and always have, and that's a small part of why I've left it so many times, but then the community is what draws me back time and again. So now I have two channels!🤣 Anyway, funny but I wasn't looking for minimalism when you popped into my feed, but one of your videos caught my curiosity and now I'm enjoying your content and personality. My husband and I are in Tokyo on holidays, relaxing in our hotel before going Night Go Karting around the city. We're both pretty quiet people but it's wonderful taking the step and doing things out of our comfort zones sometimes.

I'm not trying to preach, but I think its unfortunate that society uses the term "nobody" to describe a person before they became rich, or popular, or successful, etc. I think a simple "unknown" would suffice. Everyone is a somebody, even if they are homeless. However I understand this is the language of the day...Congratulations on your channel's success.
