Seeing some photos from southern honda...looking good Cruise!
Looks like a nice trip - backroads are the way to go if you have the time.
Road trips are good for the soul ! Be sure to see Rock City if you have the time . Safe travels home
Cruiseman - Any word on whether Honda has plans to refresh the design of the Goldwing for 2025? I am pleased with my 2021 bagger, but could be tempted if they make major changes for next year. Thanks for the interesting videos.
Love the long rides just taking in the scenery and listening to your bike. I haven't been too far on my '99 Valkyrie, but I do plan to ride to AustinTX soon. Hope you enjoyed it.
Nice to have space and very interesting what you have pack , I drive a riker and space is very limited but I am working on it ... one side Shad bag that contain almost the same as you , compressor , tools, wheel nut socket ( need a special one for ryker back wheel and it ways a tons) , rain gear and emergency pack. and rain gloves , on the max mount I have a similar bag that expend only 30 liter and its mostly clothes and extra gloves and camera ( a big canon) No room for the cover ..that i still have to figure out. this bag , the only thing I still have an issue is the helmet , i cannot attached to my bike , what do you do with your helmet when you travel .. attached to the bike or take with you ? Safe Travels Cruiseman !!
I would have liked to come down from Knoxville to meet you and see the guys at Southern Powersports, but alas, a previous engagement will prevent me from doing that. Please be safe, especially around Chattanooga...the traffic can be nuts. Take care, Chris.
Cool! Would love to hear your thoughts on the Rebel, if only I wasn't living overseas I'd join the meet, enjoy and have a safe trip Cruiseman!
Shoot. I'll be in Montgomery getting my new fuel pump. I'm bummed. Would've liked to hook up.
Guess I'll have to come to Dallas after I retire end of July.
Thanks for sharing your packing of your bike . Always learn something watching your channel . Watched Sarah n tune . What a hoot she is. Thanks for the tip. I learned you better respect riding in hail today. Out today in around Austin with unusual cloud formations with light rain. Then it started hailing , no big deal , I thought just the small pea size stuff you see alot of in Texas. Well I caught one of those hail stones right on my index knuckle. It felt like I broke my finger ! . And I had some nice Alpine Stars gloves on with all kinds of protection. . That stone somehow made it between the hard glove shielding. Wow did that hurt. I found the nearest tree to get under a tree ASAP.. Next time I am pulling over immediately and waiting it out. If stones are huge at least my helmet will protect me. Got lucky this time , finger is still kinda sore. Be safe and enjoy your trip , and a good fuel pump install successfully done.
Wow. Hail is not something to mess with.
Awesome! Sorry I missed you today.
I will be there next Sunday.
@@cruisemansgarage Sunday the 19th?
Hello. Thanks for your videos and contents! May I ask a question. According to you if there are any changes or improvements with a new GW to come, is there a moment during the year when Honda inrforms please ? Beginning of the year, summer or at the end of the year, do you have a opinion regarding that ? Thanks a lot
Not that I know of
Good Movie Thank you
Have a good safe trip. I wish my fuel pump would get into DFW. So I can take delivery of new to me gold wing.
Was hoping to make the trip, but alas, it was not to be this weekend.
All really great to hear Cruise. Great video...very inspiring not only to get out, but to do so without the media...love it. Thank you.
Cover bag, I just treat mine as a stuff bag, way easier that way. Safe Journey.
Cruiseman, do you have a link to that bike cover you are carrying with you? Thanks. Safe ride and good luck with your fuel pump replacement.

@@cruisemansgarage Thanks!
Now you know Max at Traxxion Dynamics isn't gonna like it when you don't stop by and see him, at least just to chit chat since you're so close by. Have a safe trip...from Nashville, Tennessee subscriber.
Thanks for sharing and showing us how you packed for a +-5day trip Cruiseman. Having that Kronos bag to bring in and out of the hotel is practical and easy to pack & strap. And yes, these multi day trips do clear the mind, especially taking nice back roads without any sound but the bike and the wind. Have a safe trip back. 🙂
I like that red strip around your rim. Do you have a link for that?
It’s a Honda wheel stripe.
See you there, CM. leaving at 4 AM Central Time to get there by 9 AM Eastern Time. Looking forward to meeting you.
GREETINGS FROM THE PPRC GLAD TO SEE YOU ON THE ROAD. THATS HOW I ALWAYS RIDE JUST LISTENING TO THE HUM OF THAT FLAT SIX. RIDE SAFE.🇺🇸🏍️
That’s where I bought my 18’
Im glad you're enjoying your trip. The weather Thursday night in middle TN was rough. Glad you didn't get stuck in it.
Hello Cruiseman
Congratulations on your new 2024
Best of luck with it 🍀 🙏
I was very surprised 😮that you removed your Trax-dynamics engine guard B4 making that trip to Tennessee as that is the perfect time for something to happen but very happy to see that you had a safe trip 🏍️ 👍
However knowing you from your video's and your attention to detail I am quite flummoxed 🤔 as to why You didn't leave it on and bring a new one with you to have the dealer install it 🤔 Like you said at this point in life you can't keep waiting for the next new thing to make a move or it may never happen!
But to install a USED engine guard on a Beautiful Spanking New Beautiful Honda Goldwing and drive it Unprotected for HUNDREDS of miles...
I am Baffled..... anyway I was just having a drink and trying to solve the world's problems and that missing engine guard kept popping into my mind so I had to drop you a line....Glad you made it to your Brother's house safe... 🤞 Enjoy your time with him🎉 life is short so Ride Often but Ride Safe😊
Wind therapy!!
Luxury touring on a Goldwing is always refreshing! And guess what? You don’t have to be Cruiseman either! Ride on!
Oh yes he does. He’s Cruiseman. Like Clark Kent is Superman.
@@roadglide You have a point! But any Goldwing touring is fully approved for mental refreshment!
@@Supernaut2000
100%! Agree!
Thanks for the update I hope to see you tomorrow……..James
I forgot to mention on my last post that I use specific Goldwing saddlebag fitted travel bags when I go on trips. But I don't have a need for camera equipment😅, so I only bring what I need.
The only thing that stays on the bike are its cover, air inflator, jump pack, riding gear rain liners, gloves, small tool kit (for keeping accessories tight), 1st aid kit, and cleaner with cleaning cloths.
Have a great Saturday at Southern Honda. Most importantly, please have a safe ride home.
Thanks, Mark.
Glad to see something other than Sunday’s breakfast. Left yesterday and headed west today in fort Davis. I think some of the best riding in Texas down here. Be safe.
Hope you enjoy
Be safe
You can do it Cruise! Because you are Cruiseman! A living legend. I did it in 2 days, both ways. There & back. All interstate of course, and F6B_Adventures pushing me along. 😂. Safe travels to you. Thank you for the packing tips. There isn’t a secret for stashing your cover. It’s meant to merely be stuffed into that bag just like you did. I kinda fold it into itself and then wad it into the bag. Not a biggy. You’re doing awesome. You look & sound great. Enjoy!!
You guys are young and healthy. I’m old and give out 🤣
@@cruisemansgarage
Circa 1955 here. You still a living legend.
Yeah, I have Neslon rigg heavy duty cover, and I start at the front portion of it which is narrowest, and start winding it around my hand and keep winding tight to get the air out it and then jam it into its sleeve, not the easiest thing to do! But works the best for my spindly weak hands & arms!😅
Sounds fine
How do we feel about using the Garmin Zumo vs Carplay/Android Auto?
I used CarPlay/Google on this trip. Not bad. But not as good as Garmin.
