I actually liked how that camera setup created a nice space for you to overlay relevant cards/abilities, without blocking the view of the board. But you are right, the camera is generally a bit far away. I appreciate all the upgrades you are doing though!
Great batrep guys! Nice to see the new Saurus kicking butt and I am intrigued by a "brainy" aggro deck. I feel this game also displays the weakness in the Reapers, however. They need to kill things to inspire, but (besides Kainan) they're pretty bad at doing that, and it's actually counter-synergistic to the sorts of objectives they want to be scoring.
Whole heartidly agree. The inspire is rough and a big downgrade. Sure they had some sensational stuff in first ed upgrade deck but as a whole the warband hardly needed this much toning down. While I think thematically collecting tithe should be their thing it should work more like first edition. Say when a total bounty of slain fighters=3 they all inspire.
@@criticalfocuschannel , it seemed to me that the current ossiarchs would be better suited to a ‘necromancy’ profile. They have a powerful, almost unkillable leader, lots of minions to resurrect and they get noticeably stronger after resurrection/inspiration. The same profile they're given now, it's bad.
@@criticalfocuschannel great report as ever. Agree with what's being said here. Seems like you'd have to be really aggressive to inspire which with 2 move fighters is awkward and not in line with the objectives they're more likely to be wanting to score as said. All inspiring after 3 glory would be fairer for them. Happy about the Jaws of Itzl though and would be intrigued to see them go toe-to-toe with another Elite warband.
@@criticalfocuschannel oo yeah Morgok's would be an entertaining showdown. I'm thinking of trying them against the Thricefold Discord who have felt powerful in my solo games. They annihilated the Emberwatch.
What a comeback, that looked really strong for Kainan's Reapers at the start! I didn't realise how burly the new Saurus models are, they've got some size to them.
@@MrGreg972 I think its mostly very good even if several warscrolls lack some power and character. Yeah some surges are a bit silly but it goes both ways of course, but I personally prefer a little more setup/skill expression.
@@АндрейЛысенко-я8й sort off agree honestly. Only one man to worry about and the mortek advance gets destroyed as soon as you loose a couple of fighters
Accidently put the cam abit far off for this one, next one will be abit clearer 🙏

@Nerdality_Florian always 2 sides to a coin I guess =) thanks man!
"You don't get two glory"
You never know until you try, Mattias! LOL!
I applaude the effort! I guess the bonereapers decided the tithe was due 😂
I enjoyed the playthrough and I love the Jaws Models and I think the new strike deck is a lil nicer than blazing assault. Keep up the good work
@@warhammerRob cheers Rob! Very nice models indeed.

@mattr.hardwick5779 agreed. Maybe itzl vs morgok could be a fun bout. Side eying ironsouls aswell..

Oh, yeah. They're no pushovers, and the deck pairing is great for elite aggro aswell!
Very nice batrep, guys! How do you actually like the new edition and do you think that it’s too easy in comparison to the old one?

@ thanks for
The reply. Would you rather stick to the new edition or the old ones?
The simple fact I can get by with 1 warband and 1 deck is a massive improvement, I gave up after harrowdeep when rotation went to every year
I was shocked at how the Reapers were changed. They are probably the worst gang in the game right now.

Nice video!

(Edit: my Phone wanted to autocorrect that to "nice wiener") 😂🍆
Did the Kainan reaper warscoll come in the new card pack or the 4pack grand alliance they're selling currently? thanks!
@@scourgebourne1698 its in the Grand Alliance one yes 😊
Couldn't Nohem already inspire after the first ;ove by Kainan, as he has 0 bounty and as such requires 0 bone tithes to inspire?
@@TomMurrath yeah, he could 😂 not that it wouldve helped the poor sod😅
