I’m really loving this fan made movie of Final Fantasy VIII. I also noticed some of the music from Final Fantasy IX which I thought was really that you could incorporate it into this video! I hope that you’re doing well and that you have a great and wonderful day.
I love the little details made in the conversation with NORG and balamb’s role in the mission against Edea. That Martine reached out right before the games beginning asking for help; saying the sorcesress gaining power would impact Balamb Garden as well. NORG agreeing to help but not until it was carefully planned to avoid fall out. Martine refusing to wait any longer and back channeled (according to NORG) to Cid. Then using Squall’s party. Also the detail about that NORG wouldn’t have used ‘rookie’ SeeDs. All amazing details that I think the original game tried to imply but it missed the mark, especially as this is the only conversation with NORG.

Here are some of my thoughts for the story so far, During the season 1 I thought Virginia might be the 3rd wheel between squall and rinoa, but after watched season 2, somehow i have a feeling Virginia is a traitor in the storyline, based on how she react to G-Soldiers in the training center. Or i could be wrong, because elder in shumi said someone is trying to alter the fate. Anyway, i anticipate for season 3 now!
Excause me, do you just made a fan movie or actually rewrite the script of game? I'm a fan-modder of FF8 too, and I really need some tech-support for script.
I have a prediction on how this version of the story will evolve and I’m really curious to see if I’m right. I have a feeling of a big plot twist coming

So halfway through season 2 I started to developed a theory around Virginia and that is that Virginia is Ultimercia. And could be totally wrong but there a few things that lead me to believe Ultimercia is altering the original ff8 timeline through Virginia. Clues: At the very beginning of season 1 Among the many things Ultimerica says to the party is that “their memories will slowly go away” due to time compression. Also note worthy Virginia isn’t in the party during this scene. Virginia has dark eyes similar to that of Ultmercia Virginia was the one who knew where Deling and Edea would be and where Seifer was going when he went to Timber and told Quistis gaining her trust When meeting her for the first time in Zells house the music sounded dark similar to the Ultimercia theme Virginia upon becoming a SeeD wonders who “her knight will be” When talking with Zell he notices the clock speed backwards. She down plays it and references a novel but this seems to fall in line with time compression She has a tendency to use a lot of time magic just like Ultimercia When you meet with the Shuni tribe: the elder says “someONE is trying to alter their destiny” Somehow she is on all sides at once. Ala the G soldiers letting her go in the training center. When Squall questions it, she once again plays it off.
