Custom list filters: 1-Wouldn´t it be easier if when creating a new custom list filter, if all modules check boxes would popup unchecked and the user only checks what he/she wants? If I need to create a custom list with say, only two modules, I would need to go unchecking through all of them except the two that I need active. A complete waste of time INHO. 2-Also, could you introduce an option that allows the modules present in a given custom list filter to automatically open? When we select it of course. Thanks!
Yes, Ozone does not do Loudness Optimization at all. They're totally different. Loudness Optimize uses the integrated LUFS, which requires access to the entire file. Since Ozone is a plugin, it does not have access to the entire file. The reason to use RX after your track has already been mastered with Ozone is to perform Loudness Optimization (if necessary) and use the Streaming Preview module to make sure your track will sound good on Spotify, Apple Music, etc.
I bought this for field recording nature sounds. wish you guys would make a tutorial for people like us. And there's hardly anything on RUclips nothing good at least. Payed $270 for this thing and can't even use it. I taught myself adobe premiere pro and DaVinci reolve so it's not like I'm some idiot this is just more advanced, would be nice if you had tutorials or at least some help for people that use it for field recording but there isn't any.
Hey there! Check out these two field recording RX blogs - hope they're helpful: RX and Sound Design: 13 Tips with field recordist Matt McCorkle: www.izotope.com/en/learn/matt-mccorkle-rx-for-sound-design.html Making Beats from Sampled Sounds with TOKiMONSTA: www.izotope.com/en/learn/making-beats-sampled-sounds-tokimonsta.html
Could you point me in the right direction of how to remove distant plane sounds from my audio recordings. I'm filming looped nature videos of rainfall or a slow moving creek or river. I mostly just try to cut out the plane sounds but it would be helpful like if I could find some way to remove the faint plane sounds from my recording. Trying to figure out How many hertz I guess that's the frequency that a jet airplane or plane makes so I can block it out with a low pass filter. Because I can't see the plane sound on the spectragram so I'm trying to figure out how many hertz it is to remove it. Or maybe you know what would be the best way to remove it
Im getting my head around all this stuff, thanks for the vids.
We need more information on how to prepare direct tracks for mixing using RX.
Excellent
Izotope must make "Module Chain" a separate plugin to create and safe chains as presets.

Does RX's loudness optimization do anything that Ozone doesn't? Is there any reason to use RX after your track has already been mastered with Ozone?
Loudness Optimize was built with online streaming in mind. 💯 Learn more about that here: bit.ly/3z21qV0
