Firekeepers Daughter | Ep 1 | The Fox Den Podcast

The Fox Den is a podcast that discusses the common read at West Shore Community College. This semester's common read is Firekeeper's Daughter by Angeline Boulley. The beauty of a common read is that it provides an opportunity for shared conversation around the text and brings together people from different backgrounds and areas of interest to have a discussion. The podcast allows us to share those conversations with the broader community. The book Firekeeper's Daughter is also a perfect fit for our HumanKind series theme, Inclusion: Conversations Around a Crowded Table. We are looking to those around us to learn more about what it means to be human. Sharing stories is integral to the human experience, which is why the common read and podcast are part of HumanKind's exploration. Participants on the podcast will bring their unique perspectives from their background or area of study to the conversation about the book.
