I used to watch this with my Mom , she just passed this July 17 this year 2024. Now I find it hard to watch it anymore especially BER months are here , But thank You Tikim T.v. I was able to make a good memory with my mom watching your videos especially this one!

Naalala ko nung bata pa ako,tuwing nagsisimbang Gabi kami nila tatay ksama 2 kapatid ko bago kami umowe ng bahay galing simbahan bibili c tatay ng 4 to 5 pirasong bibingka,ang laki pa noon 90's diba,ang talagang di namin maubos ubos sa laki.at mura pa rin noon 90's

I still like how they make bibingka & puto bumbong just like in the old days. Although, they incorporated some new ingredients to it, the way how it was done is still there. Please pass on these knowledge to the next generations to come.

I watched the Tumbong episode and five minutes in I already thought it was much better than the Netflix Street Food Asia Philippines episode as the food was more relatable as was the story of Mang Rado and his family ❤️

eto ung nakalakihang negosyo ng family ko ang puto bumbong matrabaho gawin yan kc isasalin namin sa katya ang liquid galapong at dadaganan nmin ng malaking bato para tumapon ang tubig tubig at maging powder.Tpos itataktak ang puto bumbong sa dahon ng saging papahiran ng margarine,niyog , ang pampabango na linga na dinikdik at inihahalo nmin sa asukal, tpos lalagyn pa ng ginadgad na cheese at condense milk for only 25 pesos na limang piraso laman sa isang balot. Pero nagsimula nanay ko nyan noon sa halagang 10 pesos limang piraso.Pinipilahan tlga kmi ng mga costumer noon.
Sarap talaga ang bibingka rep. Kumusta na ba yong kay Perino sa Baclaran ? Sarap yan -nandiyan pa ba sa Aristocrat sa Baclaran? Tuwing Miyerkoles nagsisimba kami ng nanay ko sa Baclatan church at tapos kimkain kami sa Perinos sa Aristicrat restaurant sa Baclatan sa Perinos pag tapos namin mahsimba sa Baclaran church.What a memorable moments that was.I wish I can turn back the hands of time. ❤😅

Naalala ko nung 6yrs old ako 1984 tumutulong sa parents ko mag serve ng bibingka alsa sa cstomer. Kaso hindi n po tumagal Sobrang fave ko po yan..
Nkakalungkot po at dito sa baliuag hindi n po giniling na bigas. Harina nlang. Kya hindi n ako bumibili at lasang puto..
