Remove the rear doors on the trailer. You'll save a couple hundred pounds and save time too. Even if it spills a little you can knock it down on the way back. Praying for a speedy recovery for Emma Lee !
Hi Daniel, Chris from Australia here. If Charlie makes noises like a whistle or drumming that is how you can tell if Charlie is male or female. Females drum and males whistle. It is how they call a mate in the wild.
I've noticed that there a few video creators that don't know how to tell the difference between male and females. Good info to know.

Load to the front of the trailer .and low at the back then you will put the weight on the rear wheels of the tractor.the more weight in front of the trailer wheels the better.

Kevin and Rachel's (Hidden Heights Farm) emu was doing the same exact thing to him! lol He called him a weirdo too. Eventually, he started chasing the female emu. I don't think she's started laying eggs though.
Daniel, I just love you, your family and your channels (including DJ's)! I've watched a lot of content creator's videos and most are good people. If they weren't, I stopped watching. You, however, have NEVER disappointed me! You are honest, compassionate, you have an awesome sense of humor, and that "little" laugh you do, sounds so much like the one my dad had. That's what his brother in law does with the bison, he pulls hair off of the neck hair or the tail hair and sends it off.
I'm so glad to hear that Emily is doing well. One can't help but worry when it's your own precious child going through surgery. I do hope your second pond contractor has a bit more of a reasonable price to fix the pond. I'm sure you'll rest easier, if it is. I'll be praying for Emily too, love to all the family!!

I am so happy that Emma Lee is doing better. I didn’t even know about the Cryo therapy. Hopefully she continues to improve at a rapid pace. I am keeping her in my prayers.

They’re definitely not the same type emus, I mean their personality. Charlie and nugget aren’t just different personality wise,but they don’t look alike,would be interesting to find out if there are different types.
Since Nugget is the sheriff, is his friend the deputy or the secretary?
Cog Hill Farm got Goldie when she lost her partner. If she and Nugget hadn’t got along the original family would have looked for another home for her.

You and I have both been recipients of government bids and learned that low bids are rarely the best bids. The wonderful thing about being a private land owner is being able to take advantage of the best bid you are given. I often tell bidders on my projects to give me a fair bid to him and to me and I expect quality work. And I do check references. Good luck Daniel. Your project should turn out GREAT!!!

My daddy was a logger his entire life, and there were times when he would purchase standing timber from private folks to harvest. I don't know if there is anyone in your area, but instead of paying the pond crew to cut down and remove the trees that need to be gone, maybe you could find a timber harvester that would buy them, cut them and haul them off. That would be another way to help the pond pay for itself.

I’m glad Emily is doing good. Every minute you spend with her and the rest of the family is a blessing. My daughter Emily 43 years old passed away 6 weeks ago. She’s in a better place now but will always be missed

The Skid steer makes a MUCH better tow Vehicle!! It has a much bigger ground contact footprint! And I am very Glad to hear Emmly is home! I have broken more ribs than I care to remember! Most times by the 2 month mark I was totally healed! Emmaly has a MUCH longer task/healing period! Wishing her well and prayers (Always)!

Try mixing some dish soap and water in a sprayer and spray the bed of the trailer before you load it might help slick the bed and allow the material to slide out easier.

Motherly instincts are very strong they want to protect their children it is not a bad thing but sometimes it does feel like you need to stop them a little and tell them to pump the brakes your daughter is a strong young woman I’m glad she’s doing better and I know she will be way way better soon you guys are inspiring keep up the good work I wish you all the best
You need to get Dusty to bring his skid steer over. Then train Houston to use either the skidsteer or mini ex. Get Houston, Weston, you and dusty to do a marathon weekend to get dirt out of the pond. Team work makes the dream work. Your boys will get a valuable skill. Praying for healing for Emmalee.
one of the tricks to loading a dump bed is to be sure to load the heaviest part in the back it is easier to leverage the load to make it a bit easier

I remember the day you brought Peppa pig home and honestly Daniel he has grown into the ugliest pig I have ever seen 😄 but I still haven't gotten over losing Rufus so I'm very attached to Peppa pig.
