      🎉 HI TODD that truck would look fantastic with a LD18 with Chris Guins Excavation llc under the LD18, RAP the whole truck it would look great have Chris's name on the drivers door and on the other have a tree half down and have it say under it TIMMMBERRR OH and under Chris's name have a picture of a dam and on the face of the dam have it say DAM RIGHT. What do you say about that. Thanks for sharing Chris you are the man. Be safe out there, Chris.

    Glad to see you back at it again Chris, I really enjoyed these kind of jobs my friend! 🙋🏼👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Brian’s pond dam is going to be 100% better than it was, especially with a packed clay core trench! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  • @terryrogers1025
    @terryrogers1025 27 минут назад

    At the 32:10 mark as you are swinging it gives a very nice look at the other side of the dam you have already put down the clay and graded out and packed in, looks good. You have a really good start on the core out despite the side cave ins you were experiencing at the start of the video, its impressive to see how tight the clay packs in, thanks for the update, enjoying the series on the dam, great “stuff”.

  • @markpashia7067
    @markpashia7067 Час назад +3

    Another idea if budget is getting out of control, bend the core out to the front of that sand and build from the core a clay liner on that front. That way you dont need as much clay and don't have to move as much sand. Not typical but that dam is holding until it gets cut with water in that sand. Having a clay liner on the front of it would make that impossible. I know you always overbuild but this could go way over budget the more you see of it. Hope that dam you are taking out is good clay. You will be needing it.

  • @markpashia7067
    @markpashia7067 2 часа назад +2

    Up north we call that first rock hard clay layer Hard Pan and like you say once you get through that it is better. Surprised you have not set up to have the truck lower yet. Also can you cut the clay deeper since you have so much top soil for backfill?

But, ya got it packed on in real quick !! Just never know with something that Old and built out of Sand, and God knows what else is in there. But, it's coming on a long, hopefully everything will keep going pretty smooth !! Great as Always Chris !! Have a Great Evening, And, On to the Next !!
