Now because of that, I have arthritis so bad in my hand I can hardly grip anything, and the hand specialist told me it was because, when I injured it back in the day, I should have had it taken care of immediately. Yo Casey, while judging the new 80D you need to keep in mind that you have been sent a very early version of the camera. I would expect problems of many kinds to be fixed on the actual public release version of the camera.
+The Rolling Shutter it depends on which one Casey values more: the folding screen or the improved image quality, but if he values the folding screen more because of it's efficiency (which he probably does) then you are right. I was just making a suggestion to him :)
+Andrey Doichev Casey has never done a full vlog using the 5d Mark 3 and he never says if some sequences have been shot using it, so I can't link any vlogs to you (sorry!) but almost all of Casey's older videos before he started vlogging were shot on it. The reason that I think the 5d Mark 3 looks so much better is because when Casey uses it with an f/2.8 lens, the shots have a much greater depth of field and a blurrier background, which in turn makes the video look much more professional looking. Hope this helps! :)
That 80D you tested must have been defective. I have the 80D myself and have had ABSOLUTELY no issues with it. It works just fine in every way. Best camera I've ever had. HIGHLY recommended if you can afford it.

Casey That's very unfair in regard to the 80D, it is a pre release model and you can't expect it to be a reliable as the release 70D. I think unfortunately a lot of idiots will now think the 80S is a bad Cam based on your review based on a pre release model!
I am SOOOOO glad to hear that you don't care for the 80D! Three months after I bought the 70D, Canon released 80D. Needless to say, I was beyond ticked! I eventually got over it. ;) Now I'm really over it!

The flickering on the 80D is because when the viewfinder is covered it assumes you're looking through it so it switches displays
