Hello. Thanks a lot for this video. I have already added my spouse to my PR application which both of which are currently in progress. So I believe my TRV application is a dual intent. If spouse gets TRV approved and she lands in Canada and also receives PR after arriving in Canada. In this case, how do I mention the date of departure and exit from Canada while applying for TRV? Yes to all the questions... You can decide to apply for trv or PR before or after - there's no compulsion.. and yes you should be honest in your application about the intention. I would recommend applying via IRCC new portal as it's quick and easy. You can contact us at sahilj.jain@gmail.com

I would recommend putting the dates for the time period when you are expecting the PR (approximately 6 months timeline) and explain it in the explanation letter that this is applied based on new policy of family reunification and also why you chose that time period....

Hey there, what if I have a one way ticket booked for my wife. We got our AOR a month or so ago and want to get her here with TRV while she waits for her PR to get finalized. Will my application get denied if there's no return??
In our case, we didn't book any return tickets, we were not denied.
But in your dates you told them your fiancé will be there for a week, did you not have to upload proof of flight tickets at all?

We just received AOR for my husband's spousal sponsorship a week ago. My husband has refusal for Canada study visa twice in 2016 and for US in 2014. Will it have any effect on visitor visa or PR application or future applications ?
No. My wife’s visa got refused twice then she got approval on the third time, after aor. But the process time was normal not the 30 days one due the Eligibility hasn’t started.

Yes you can still apply for visitor visa..once you get it, . You can stay upto 6 months every year for 10 years... (You can also apply for an extension if you want to stay longer)

Ideally you should wait for AOR as per IRCC, but in my opinion I don't think it's harm to apply immediately , you can still attach the proof of payment and other kind of documents showing you already applied and the same thing you can explain in invitation letter

This portal seems new to me. I am wondering can I apply from my gckey instead of using this IRCC portal? GCkey shows a lot of option for uploading the documents such as invitation letter and other staffs but this portal is way too different from gckey. Which one is better to apply for TRV? Gc key or IRCC portal?
Yes you can apply using gckey as well but ircc has launched this new portal for faster processing of some type of applications like tourist visa, super visa, spousal visa. As this will be worked initially mostly by AI and hence will be faster. So I would recommend choosing a new portal over gckey

@@sonaliarora2770 Hi Somali, there's no way to get the applications pushed - IRCC has its own way to select applications - I don't think there's any pattern
But you can definitely apply for TRV, for strong ties, you can show your offer letter, salary slips if you are working . Or your family health condition if you are supporting them.. it really depends upon your situation which you need to elaborate

Yes one can apply but chances of getting approval are less. In our case, we got approved, so it totally depends upon how to explain in letter of invitation as well as submit supporting documents

Looks like you are applying for TRV before getting married...Is that valid and how long is TRV duration? Usually they give based upon the validity of the passport
Yes it is valid for 10 years (6 months at a time)
My fiance passport is valid till 2033 so she got for 10 years

My recommendation is DO IT yourself, there's no need to pay extra fees to anyone when the process is so transparent and simple

So I have spouse sponsorship in process with my lawyer, but I want to do my husband visit visa myself. How can I do that. Don’t I have to link the account. Do you have AOR email for the spousal application? If not, wait for it before applying for tourist visa on safer side

If that's the situation, then yes you need to add his application together by choosing 'Yes' in the option of 'you want to apply for more than one person'

Yes you can go to Canada on a tourist visa but the concern is whether your tourist visa will get approved or not. Because a tourist visa is for someone who wants to visit Canada to explore as a tourist but not to get married.
Also, there is a family reunification program where spouse can apply for a tourist visa if they are waiting for PR approval.
But in your case, I assume your marriage is not yet fixed. So you will have to show the proof of relationship and convince ircc officer by showing some photographs together, or with families, Whatsapp chats, video calls etc.
For 2nd question, once you are here in Canada, to apply for spousal PR sponsor ship, you would need marriage certificate, wedding photographs, Police clearance certificates, and other related documents. It has its own processing times (6-12 months)

What other documents can we provide to prove strong ties to your home country if the applicant spouse is unemployed and living with parents?
Depends upon your situation.. like if spouse is taking care of parents so you can show any medical documents if they have some health issues...
If spouse is helping in business or has some properties in their name so you can add relevant documents
So yes it completely depends on your scenario. Be honest and explain as much details as possible in the letter

Yes you can apply for a tourist visa as well. That's what the new policy of family reunification came into picture. Just explain the same in the letter of invitation.

Yes, you must have applied using the ircc portal (old way) .. this is for new portal

Yes you can. You just need to explain in the invitation letter about the family reunification notification and also about the PR application you submitted.
Make sure you are submitting enough proof of relationship - marriage pictures, certificate, etc.

Hello, it happened with me as well... It acts weird sometimes , what I did was deleting and reentering them in reverse order (other than what I did earlier) and it worked for me

It's like the summary of documents attached.. with serial number . Like page 1 has PR card, Page 2 has proof of funds etc

Hi, we have submitted for spousal PR last month and paid for biometrics along with application fee. Now if we are applying for TRV without AOR do we have to pay for biometrics again along with TRV application. Please help me with this.
You just need to correctly answer the questions based on your scenario.
Did you have the biometrics before?
If yes, then TRV application won't ask for biometrics fees.
If no, then you have to pay again.
But likely they will refund back one of the fees later

Its really a hectic procedure it had been more than 6 months for me to aplly to this visa...Pr process go through at a very slow pace
