Literally the best presentation of a SE creation EVER.
+CasaXtreme TheGemanLegion instant sub, hope to see more videos like that.
+CasaXtreme TheGemanLegion
Don't worry - I already have a weapon that's about twice as powerful. Just need to tweak it a bit and make a video before it hits the workshop :)
I partially agree. Would be better if the guy presenting it had more personality.
This amazing. You sound like a professional weapons development company putting on a presentation for world powers.
Throw in a couple of shoulder launched rockets for the kids and Kuiperbeltistan is all ears...
@@Furzkampfbomber k
OH HELL YEAH-
I wonder if he starts teaching gamers into his way with words and also adds piston-powered maint panel to replace some components without hull being disassembled.
lmao no he doesn't
I love this design. It uses the principles of a shaped charge and even uses standoff for maximum effect at penetration and destruction past the armor. This is like a space age equivalent of a HEAT round. amazing!
This is amazing! This is the kinda of stuff I love this game for, I just wish I could see it in action some more. Also I didn't realize at first that this is 6 years old?!
I imagine HE variant using warheads or container full of explosives or munitions considering the change in damage response with the Warfare 2 update.
lol I love youtube comments
@@Aereto I've heard good things about the new patch. I'll have to give it a try.
you know, the principles for this thing and a heat are the same.
I have seen aerospace presentations that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to put together that where shit compared to this. Amazing presentation.
7 years later still liking what a legend
This video serves as a reminder of what the "Engineers" part of SE is really about, truly amazing what complex creations you can make in this game!

@@idcgaming518 What's the reference?
@@calebhouston5799 i'll take 3000.
You just invented ballistic capped HEAT in space engineers
**Gasps in freedom**
It's capped, not ballistic capped.
@@MBKill3rCat It's ballistic capped.
@@truereaper4572 No, it's not. A ballistic cap improves the aerodynamics (thus the ballistic trajectory) of the projectile.
Exactly
Nice presentation! It's a lot better presented than bigger space engineers youtubers
This is amazing i feel like i am actually watching an weapon expo.
Ah, yes. The olden days of designing creative ballistic weaponry to fill in the gaps that vanilla left one with. That is until the almighty coming of mods, which immediately removed all the guesswork and art of creating one's own weapon systems.
This was so fun, so sad they nerfed rocks
They are still lethal to crew, in addition to being disrupted by the sudden gravity change.
would this still work if you used stacks of motors instead? Motors are a really cheap component and I think they may be heavy enough to do some damage.
@@mrJMD >really cheap
Great, now I feel bad about my chronic motor shortage.
@@starchives2365 motors may be cheap in the resources they cost in the late game however when you don't have heavy duty automation set up they can still be rather time consuming to produce
Free flying blocks still destroy walls with ease
6 years ago, these videos were the kind that got me excited for the future of sandbox games. Still holding out hope.
7 Years later still waiting on that technical video.
I don't care if the weapon has been nerfed for years, I want to see footage of this thing eviscerating any Armour box that dare exist.
The AXE Weapon System uses the same principle as this weapon, and the video includes a couple clips of ships being blown up ;)

Awesome Video and Missile! I feel like I'm watching a professional weapons commercial/Presentation from the Future. Can't wait to see more of your stuff, you earned a sub! :)
SpaceManTyler Thanks! I should have more up within a week or two, and much more soon after that :)
+Hesterry I agree. Great stuff.
I'm feeling like an emperor searching for weapons and this guy came to negociate
This is such a brilliant idea. Mt friend almost destroyed an entire ship by dropping 80k liters of uranium on the floor.
It's pretty funny how much it still seems like a demonstration of real world space weapon then you talkin bout it pushing into blocks and all the weird game related physics of this complex, completely player designed, not planned at all by the game devs. It's so cool! Great job
wow all those graphic and perfect voice over! quality is off the chart!
This was extremely well done, my favourite SE showcase to date.
this is still the best thing I ever seen on youtube it looks so cool
This video is old but I absolutely love the size comparison between it and the default ship
Wow, that is a genius way using simple materials to do the same work as something explosive, i would love to see what this would do to something massive like a Star Destroyer
This is the video that hot me into playing space engineers, and I thank you for that
In...sss...ssss... Instant sub. Dude this is ,hands down, the best presentation of a model in SE, this is just so awesome and detailed, you deserve all the atention. I just hope to see an even more powerful varient of this missile :)
want to see a more powerful varient... sry fer bed enlish xD
+Fall Boy
Check out the AXE on my channel :)
Hesterry Ohhh my...this...THIS IS BEAUTYFUL. How do you create something like this?
+Fall Boy
By spending waaaaayyy too much time planning and testing... My ship building tutorial series roughly details my design process for ships. Perhaps I should do another series for weapon design...
Hesterry Yes plz I have just bought SE and..well I can hardly make a stable ship. Ill start waching your How to build a space ship tutorials, wish me luck :D
My gawd, man... I need to send all of the other SE presenters your way.. they have a LOT to learn from you. AWESOME presentation, and a lot of time taken in the edits of this video. The effort to use post editing and placement of the different blocks for visual highlight instead of just, you know... flying around in game and pointing at stuff (*cough*Aaron*cough*) is SO appreciated.. KUDOS!!!!
Real shame Keen nerfed this weapon. I looked forward to deleting those annoying compensation ships that people make that are just mobile turret platforms. Turning those to Swiss cheese sounded so satisfying
mobile turret platforms seem like exactly the thing any military would do seeing its effectiveness. which they did! at least on sea ships. in space it's still very much naval combat.
This dude creating international weapons expo level videos for a fkin space game. That's some serious dedication right there.
Space engineer players out here creating weapons for war crimes that havent even been written yet.
The presentation is amazing. I don't know how you did this but this is amazing. The animation is really good. You point a lot of good stuff about the reaper missile
You do the animations and everything. Really cool man . . .
This is how a showcase should go!
Wow, for being such a small channel, your content is incredibly high quality. You've earned yourself a sub :)
Andrew Gates Thanks! I'm just getting started! There will definitely be more to come :)
this really is one of the best made videos on youtube, well done.
Well, good to see space engineers now has HEAT rounds
the way this video is presented makes it seem like an add witch by the way sells the product extremely well making me want to buy one of these reaper missels
Dang bro I thought I was watching a Lockheed Martin weapons development video, lol. Very well done.
This is why I love Space Engineers!
@Cory Nakawatase
Thank you! I spent quite a lot of time on it! :)
compound ammo. This is beyond amazing.
I was thinking in multy phase missiles with different tasks.
Great R&D and deadly result.
I am happy to say. that under CRI designed armor layouts. this weapon will only penetrate past our State, Capital, and Flag ship outer hulls. before striking our ERA, detonating it, before its shotgun effect detonates our second layer of reinforced armor, which at this point, outer hull sensors are designed to activate spherical generators to push objects outwards. so. even in full speed, and anti-KE system is up, the projectile WILL hit and most likely penetrate through the first layer of our hull, detonating a packet of ERA. past this, the shotgun effect from the rocks will not have much if not any effect.
my steam is [TSF] Mason.
i welcome the innovations of others and the test beds to correct errors for the use in combat applications.
CRI has the earliest record of an upload on the workshop relating to armor design. Spaced, Filler, Slat, ERA, RHA, ect. weve made it work.
The combat design application we are stuck on is a suitable static (not dynamic) Cluster munition.
We are have already demonstrated a SABOT concept.
great demonstration from you, and your weapon design
:P
Captain Jack I'd like to see you test this out next time you battle with TheXPGamers.
🅱️iss
i wish this type of thing still worked
It is also ribbed, for your pleasure.
I was very surprised when I found out that this video is already 7 years old! But it still looks good at this time. 💎
I am sad this was a complete breakdown without an actual demonstration :(.
Also, video was made in 2015 sooooooooo, praise Al Go Rithm, it shines on you.
The cameras in the glass fins is a brilliant idea.
Extremely well put together video to showcase anything in SE. nicely done.
finally some quality space engineers videos
Gravity shields: now this looks like a job for me
Just tested them out, they're incredibly OP!
Should make this an individual workshop item since the world broke
I did - each variant should be listed as its own item in the workshop. The issue is that Keen nerfed the mechanic these weapons took advantage of (ore collision damage), so they no longer work.
Hell of a presentation mate. Sounds almost like you have some real-world experience with selling weapon systems. =)
That's a very well made presentation. Props to you, man!
I genuinely feel like I sat down at a Lockheed Martin showcase and was provided this information for purchasing these.
Like is there an unknown universe of weapons dealers in Space Engineer I had no idea about?
My god... it is so beautifully simple. You just got yourself a subscriber, bud.
I've Got this In My Recommended and I've been Easily Convinced, Just the Right amount Of Graphics, Point on the Music, and a Voice that Blends well with it
Took me until I saw the old model of grav generator to realize that this video is seven years old
Thats just a massive heat warhead
You put a lot of thought into your design, and a crapton of effort into you presentation.
Now I wanna make a countering system for example something that can reduce damage and regenerate from it
warheads ERA?

Love the way you've done this video. Absolutely brilliant.
Oh my god, I am going to invest in these for SURE. that stone shrapnel payload is ingenious!
This was my first ever encounter with space engeeners and then I watched daddy dinamo's videos and then I watched the tutorials from zebra guy and then I saw and subscribed to Zer0 and then I went to tell Lucatheguide to get a father and then I was ready to get the game and now I'm here... You, whitout knowing, made me get into space engeeners.💀👍
65m missile? otherwise known as the.... yeetus deletus
I feel like im watching a lockheed martin presentation of a new tomahawk
Very impressive creation. Loved the presentation as well.
If reaper 1 had cargo container behind it each containing 100 war head inside of let's say 20 cargo containers the destructive impact after the rock would be massive and leave nothing but dust!
Having thought about this is you simply put the warheads behind the rock contains I'm sure they would blow up on instant impacts but if they are secured by a cargo container like the rocks themself I belive the would travel a small distance into the hull before blowing up right behind the rocks for max damage and effect!
Great presentation btw by far my favourite middle design and showcase ;)
BRING BACK ORE DAMAGE TO GRIDS REEEEEEEE
I honestly don't know why they removed it. Nerfing it is one thing, but removing it completely? In a game that touts its physics engine? Must have been due to performance issues, I suppose...
Man, if they brought it back, I would almost definitely start playing again!
@@Hesterry I had whole concepts destroyed.
Although - explosive munitions can now be detonated outside of weapons, meaning you can make containers full of missiles drop on enemy installations and AI turrets won't take them out.
I feel like you're selling it to me, and it's working!
Using this in SE should be considered as warcrime cuz its efficiency wich destroys battle ship in half or entirely
This has had more work put into it than the Titian Missiles
that missile is as big as most of the ships I make.
i hope you take that as a warning
Wanna know how to wreck a server? Ram two into each other, idk what happens, but if you'll excuse be Ima go convert these into IPBM's
I think you should build the missile with the storage containers with stones in it and the warhead in the middle of the missile so it can explode and causing More damage to enemy ships hows that for a missile
youtube is unfair . you deserve a lot more subs
meanwhile my go-to tool for dealing with enemy stations is the "caveman warhead", or as I like to call it, "grug missile". The best and brightest shamans at Grug INC. have spent *days* developing the most efficient method of destroying enemy sky huts, and finished product is rock the size of which has never been seen in the Miocene Epoch, capable of untold destruction. Simply hurl yourself towards enemy magic sky longhouse and release you payload of boulder and watch as enemy disappear in seconds.
My faction usually prefers kamikaze tactics but this is neat
You literally sound like a professional marketing promotor ready to sell to the imperial army (or imperial navy in this case) their last breaktrought in anti capitalships missiles.
You just needed to add "We have 100.000 Units ready and 500.000 more already in production"
Usually Mk. are used to represent generational improvement on a same design. You use Mark system to designate different designs. Specialization of weaponary usually done with letters rather than Marks too. However, naming system is generally a mess between nations. Everything can be anything.
Cheers, hope to see more
RUclipsrs could learn from this. This is quality content.
You dont always see quality of such high level. You earned sub from me mate.
I wonder if it's still working so good.
Really nice job and I LOVE your presentation ^^
Best SE video I have seen
How long before we can effectively use HESH in Space Engineers?
Pretty impressive. Nothing short of a high-G gravity shield could properly counter this thing.
The missile knows where it is at all times...
Bruh, just got this 6 years later💀
Jesus… the fact it uses the storage containers full of rocks as shrapnel and then fires said stone shrapnel like a railgun.
so youve made space hesh and heat? thats fucking crazy haha well done mate
k imma buy 3000 of em first ship tomorrow mornin fast
What if you made a third head, one that uses rotators stacked on top of each other like a fragmentation missile, but use decoy blocks instead of shrapnel. And once the missile reaches maximum speed and is on a direct course to the target it could release the decoys and act as chaff to make counter missile systems less effective. Under the decoy system you could put either of the traditional heads and dispose of the decoy system so the underlying tip can serve its purpose. Overall this missile looks extremely promising and well designed otherwise, but this is just what I would do and if you find it more effective to run the missiles clean, then this design is pretty much perfect.
Say. Is it possible for one ship, if given precise enough jump coordinates, to jump INTO another ship or station? Because then you can just make a missile that teleports itself into an enemy target with a bunch of long branches tipped with warheads, which all blow up upon warp completion.
I wonder if this still works
No.
I like the montage bro, really nice to watch such presentation ;)
This sounds like a legitimate
Presentation from an arms company.
Everybody gangsta till a manually controlled model is released
Come on baby, don't fear the reaper
Baby take my hand, don't fear the reaper
We'll be able to fly, don't fear the rea-
OH DEAR GOD, NEVERMIND!
Now with the reaper mini, you could build little torpedo bomber drones to kill ships.
Nowadays you only need 100 gravity generators and an extra large stick to penetrate and completely obliterate 5-8 layers of heavy armour blocks
Makes me wonder what a modern iteration of this would be with rocks doing nothing now. Would be to expensive to just rely on kinetic damage to a ship, and i dont think warhead blocks would be worth the cost either, so would the missile have to be scaled down and fitted with a warhead, or just simplified for kinetic impacts? Maybe a new payload system could be made for it?
