Boston is such an amazing city, when I left the military after 23 years, Boston was the first place I ever chose to live as a civilian. I got my computer science degree at BC, lived in Newton and got my first post military job across the street from South Station. About a ago year I relocated to Chicago another great city but Boston will hold a very special place in my heart. One thing I am sure of, I will be back there one day.
Thanks for sharing your story, sounds like Boston will miss you! Chicago is great too, I have enjoyed all my visits there. Hope you get to visit again soon.
Thank you for your service!!
I live a half hour from Boston and have had a few jobs there. You must have gone on a weekend because there is never that little traffic on the zakim bridge during the week (or anywhere else you drove around) 08:34 Guy Fieri's restaurant is right there on the left; ate there a couple weeks ago 17:00 what a contrast in the Back Bay then and now. with the warmer weather Newbury St. especially is full of people 39:25 you sat at the green light for 7 seconds; that's too long for a Massachusetts driver to which their impatience became evident at 40:02 😊
Yep, this was an early Saturday morning before seeing homes in the area with my clients! I grew up here and lived here most of my life, it's astonishing how much changes (and stays the same)! Hilarious comment about the green - if you're not already halfway in the intersection before it turns you usually get beeped at 😂
Such a nice drive, it brings back memories... But Melnea Cass and Ruggles Street have changed, radically! I remember when they were vacant.
Glad you enjoyed it! Boston has and is changing landscape so quickly.
Nice video. Enjoyed the Boston views from the road. Appreciate the share, from a new sub👍🙏
Thanks!
Welcome to America's History Cradle, Booming Since 1630.
Straight up. I’m born and raised in Idaho and finally got to visit Boston over the 4th of July in 2019. Toured the freedom trail and watched fireworks over the harbor. Safe to say it was a great trip and cemented my heart as an American forever.
@@sethlivingstone1999 Nice, You are a Patriot!🎆Cheers 🍻from Boston!
It's always been hard for me to leave Boston for long, just love all the old buildings and feel of the town!
Bu nasıl iş anlamadım.İnsanlar nerede? Kaldırımlar bomboş.
I did this drive early on a Saturday so not as many people around.
