I wish Ginyu would have gotten a what if where he learns to control Goku's body and we see him go super Saiyan like that one PQ on xenoverse 2 where Ginyu, in Goku's body, goes super Saiyan
Like he beats Goku and Vegeta and goes on to lead the Ginyus with Goku's body. He gets an armor costume. Maybe he has to defend himself from Freeza's paranoia. Would have been awesome.
I was curious about the English voice cast and found out something. The voice of Guldo and Frost is Greg Ayres the brother of the late Chris Ayres voice of Frieza.
Had a dream last night that they made a Potara-version of Tiencha which was basically the same except he was called Yamshinhan and he had Yamcha's long hair on the back with Tien's front bald spot. This isn't relevant to anything, I've just been thinking about it the whole day.
Ohh, right, the EX-fusion from Fusions. Forgot that was a thing Anyway yeah, that's basically what I saw (though his hair was longer and even more receding)
I feel like, if they _had_ to keep Freeza playable during his What-Ifs, and had to keep it limited to 5 playable characters, then they could have done something where Captain Ginyu got knocked out early and Freeza took command of the rest of them for the rest of the ToP
In grants defense about checking the conditions. There is a trunks one where you have to essentially jump Vegeta youre not supposed to give Vegeta a second go breath. Which is different than beating them quickly
Damn, I had no clue King Cold was the Hokage of the Hidden Village of the Frost. Wait, Ginyu Force finishes off the rest of the Pride Troopers? Jiren was there... That means... Ginyu Force is stronger than Jiren!
Here's a funfact about Sparking Zero It was made with Jump Force as it's Bones you can tell because Jiren has Naruto's EXACT run animation frames even the stopping animation
They both use unreal engine. Jump Force was unreal 4, Sparking Zero uses unreal 5, but its ALSO a common practice to recycle animations. Individual developers, once they create a particular animation will keep it in a personal library they can draw on in the future so they don't have to make it from scratch again. So yes the games have similarities, but its not like they took Jump Force and modded it into Sparking Zero. Jump Force was so poorly received they'd be scared to ruin another game by doing that.
Frieza saying "cut to the chase" makes me wonder what kind of action movies they must watch in the Frieza Force. Also clearly Cooler is cannon, everyone knows Toriyama really wanted to end the series there.
1:14:45 No, Trunk's path used Toppo, not Top. Trunks even declares "TOPPO I WILL DEFEAT YOU" in the Vegeta's path big finish. I uh... think you both were yelling about how Trunks should let the other universes die to bring back Future Gohan over the dialogue in that part, so it got missed.
Well I think in Universe 7 Saiyans would be considered "Effectively extinct" since there are only 2 to 4 pure Saiyans left, and they are all male. So there is no way for the species to continue without producing hybrids.
not only killing goku, but if you do a ultimate and not kill with it, the time limit go away so fast, you need to avoid to use ultimates in time limit quests
I rewatched the Super Broly movie and it's crazy how much it feels like this game. Go watch the Goku vs Broly fight and see if it triggers your muscle memory after playing this.
I applaud they did What if scenarios. However they seem very linear. They need have unique events. For example every Kalpa The Omni King steps down. A tournament is held to crown a new one. The winner rules over the Multiverse. The catch is your stuck in your role until the next tournament.
The Tournament of Power is the only arc of the manga that's better in the anime. And knowing how you guys don't really care for the Tournament of Power in the first place: I HIGHLY recommend reading the manga. It streamlines a TON, the Future Saga has a thematically grim ending instead of a weird cop-out, and Moro and Granolah are both more interesting stories than "wait for Goku to fix everything."
I love/hate watching Grant, and Kiren slowly realize the new dragon ball game has terrible balancing that pretty much requires you to just spam supers over and over again
I.... dislike Golden Freeza. For me, the form has very bad colour balance. Like if you, say, take the classic Superan look and just remove red "haha, underwear over your clothes! Silly!!!" trunks. You need to adjust the design to make it work, otherwise it just looks off (and imho usually doesn't look as good as with the trunks.) Final Form Freeza's colour balance is great. You have the purple highlights, the dome, the lines on the face, the shoulders, and the parts on the arms and shins. The rest is white. Golden Freeza doesn't just take the same design and makes the white parts gold. It readjusts design. And, imho, it just doesnt have the same oomph as Final Form (what I saw of Frieza black, over all, was a major improvement). Cooler has the better "Post Final Form" transformation anyway! For the ToP What if... Considering we have Zarbon & Dodoria, and the Ginyu Force... I wish there'd been a "Cold Family team up" where Freeza invites both, King Cold AND Cooler. (And King Cold should have an alt version of his ultimate where, instead of Mecha Freeza, it's Final Form + Cooler)
It is unfortunate how hard the ball got dropped with the story mode what if funny-stuff in this game. I understand that voice-acted lines are probably expensive, but it's dragonball ffs not some unknown indie IP... The game is pretty, but also pretty barebones when it actually comes down to it... Even the outfits available are lackluster at best. Here's hoping they "fix it in post" with affordable dlc or just generous patches, but i sincerely expected more from a $70 game that already had a format to build on.
Honestly it should’ve been a $50 dollar game. I understand the general story being bare bones with kakarot existing but the what ifs are pretty boring.
I wish they didn’t have Goku Black and Jiren Episode Battles because they were a waste of time. The time that was devoted to them should have been devoted to taking Vegetas to through Super.
Well Frieza says his transformations are for conserving power not powering up. His Final form is actually his True form. So Cold who was comparable to cybrog Frieza who was stronger than Namek Frieza, should be like Perfect Cell level. Trunks really did save the universe from the worst timeline. Also makes sense why Supreme Kai couldn't interfere with the Cold as he dominated the galaxy.
in the manga, King Cold is, iirc, explicitely called out as weaker than Freeza. In the Anime, he is called stronger. I think a fair compromise is: King Cold is weaker than 100% Freeza, but stronger than Freeza at THAT MOMENT, before powering up further. And no, neither of htem approach Perfect Cell level at that point. Otherwise, Trunks, Goku and SSJ Veggie would've mopped the floor with Perfet Cell. After all, Trunks defeated King Cold without an issue.
I don't think there's any reason to think that Cold can transform again. And I think most of "Cold is stronger than Freeza" arguments are based on the Z dub, which is pretty unfaithful. If Cold could have transformed, he would have done so rather than the ruse with Trunks's sword. What's more Freeza survived being blow up by Goku and then the planet exploding. King Cold was done in by an energy blast that was probably comparable to what Goku used on Freeza.
The thing about Cold is that there's a bunch of contradictory evidence to support either possibility; stronger or weaker. First of all, while it's not unreasonable to assume Cold has the same transformations as his son (I would even argue Toriyama unintentionally built up that expectation and is fully to blame for the misconception -if that is what it is - even if it wasn't his intention), it never actually got confirmed and Toriyama having stated that Freeza was a mutant freak of his species makes it entirely possible Cold's form is the species' actual appearance and Freeza's natural form is unique to him. If Cold *can* transform, he's definitely stronger than Freeza, if he *can't* transform, he's weaker, but we have no idea if he can and the fact that he didn't try to after Trunks killed Freeza suggests that he can't. The ambiguity in the above context suggests Cold is weaker than Freeza, though not necessarily by much. However, the fact that Cold wasn't panicked or even seeming threatened after Freeza got turned into mince-meat suggests quite strongly that he *must* be stronger than his son or it would make no sense for him to be so confident in the immediate aftermath. The sword excuse rings quite hollow since, even without it, Trunks is clearly fast enough to keep up with Freeza and Cold had no reason to assume he *could* trick Trunks into handing it over like he did, so he should still be terrified. Furthermore, the casual ease with which Trunks ultimately kills him suggests he was *notably* weaker than Freeza since even Freeza clearly took more effort than that; which suggests that for Cold to not be shitting bricks the instant Freeza got slice'n'diced, he *must* have had a more solid source of confidence than "Oh he'll be harmless if I can just get his sword." Such as... a transformation... which the entire Freeza fight has gaslit us to expect. From a meta perspective too, it's astonishingly bad writing to have introduced a character whose *entire genre-defining twist* is that he's always in a reduced transformation state and he keeps un-transforming from into his true form, then introducing said character's *father* - who looks exactly like one of the reduced forms - as an escalation of the threat to the heroes... but then he can't transform, is actually weaker than his son and gets casually insta-gibbed as an afterthought that didn't mean anything... even though the entire original character's arc was designed around emphasizing the transformation ability. TL:DR Cold's power level is "maybe."
@@undertakernumberone1 I'm not saying they are as strong as Cell, I am saying based on the power jump for Frieza from his 2nd form to his true form, Cold would be around that too if he transformed. And no, in the manga they specifically say Cold's power is comparable to Frieza and Frieza explicitly can't properly control his power so you can't just down play Colds power when he can power up too.
@@azurefire-91 Frieza explicitly states his transformations are for conserving power because he lacks control. I like how these branches are just like “and then Jiren died, the end”
The Ginyu Force defeated him off screen
I wish Ginyu would have gotten a what if where he learns to control Goku's body and we see him go super Saiyan like that one PQ on xenoverse 2 where Ginyu, in Goku's body, goes super Saiyan

they did the same in dbza but surprised there xd
